I only ever get "Dead clicks" when i really use the mouse's initial left click - However as i do almost 95% of clicking with the "5" on the number pad i never usually get them so i think it has to do with the action between the mouse and the Runescape Interface, I have noticed a Lagg/Dead Click effect on adamant arrows however thats about the only thing which effects me, Hopefully something is actually done.
It's a short audio clip which plays after each click. It comes a bit later due to lagg when recording but you can still hear it when dead click comes.
I think you didn't understand now... This happens even without recording when only playing RS and CPU usage is between 40% and 60%.
This could be system lagg which (which can be fixed with game engine update), but definitely not CPU lagg. It very likely has something to do with the tick intervals, and how the game engine ignores certain actions right at the tick times (idk?).
I have also got same results when playing with top of the line i7 rig near the Finland's server center. (southern)
this looks like a time limit too ore heating....

That's really odd. N5 clicking is recognised by Windows (and very likely by RS too) same as a mouse click. They're both virtually just as good.
Btw, I have noticed less dead clicks lately. Jagex did update inventory code just recently.

Good vid. btw what is the clicking noise in the background? It seems like it lines up with when you get a get an ore

Looks alot like CPU lag. it happens sometimes when you use video recording software along with a demanding java/flash game.

Also, it's definitely within the Java / RS client, because Windows and Recording software both recognise clicks.
