OI don't recycle aluminum or plastic, I just throw them in the garbage. I don't even recycle used motor oil. I just dump my use motor oil on the sewer at night when the street is quiet.

Metals can certainly be toxins and therefore ones you ingest into your body (including aluminum) can cause toxicity. Alzheimer's disease is quite possibly potentiated by aluminum ingestion over the lifetime.

for one there is no proof (or not enough) to state that it can cause any problems down the road if it were so they would not use it in canned soda's, foods, and juices because of the acids the enamle based paintes and liners do more damage than the the cans itself

there is more proof that plastics causing problems than aluminum

there are more support for getting plastics banned in food and drink storage than aluminum
