  • Really good resolution. Good choice, Peter!

  • That's some great stuff. :)

  • This is brilliant!

  • Hi Peter!

Be careful broadcasting your property and all the equipment that you have in there, you never know who's watching. Do what you do well, take your shots out and about etc.

    Best regards: Tubeviewermonitor

  • wow impressed on the computer kit

  • Pretty Hi-Tech, Peter. Would you have imagined 8 years ago that you would become a regular techno wizard? Great equipment. Tell me, what kind of camera do you use to take your own picture in your videos. They are nice and crisp.

  • @Bernie1927 Thank you Bernie, the camera used for my own pictures in a video are from the built in camera in the monitor of the mac computer (iSight). The pictures vary according to how I arrange the lighting as with all photography but don't always get it right. Also the resolution I choose to upload is lower than the original because I can't be bothered to wait for hours of upload time and good enough for viewing on youtube.

  • et with a red jacket

  • @RandallMCyborgRueff LOL... I SEE HIM

  • Good video quality. Believe it or not, I think I have more "stuff" in my study than you!

  • The little ET is fantastic!!! And the view out of the window is mairvellous, you're so lucky!!

  • You have such a beautiful view from your window! The only view I get when I look out of mine is another building. :P

  • I like the Tiki Mask on the wall at the side of the Mac. I have one which looks a bit like Elvis on the wall behind my monitor, so that looks like my kind of room. :)

  • Peter you always make me smile. I have the same Canon printer. Works great with Ilford paper but it's expensive to feed.

  • I note the quality is 360p. It's still a pretty impressive camera. You're going to have to move into a bigger home if you keep acquiring all that techno-stuff! LOL

  • @downhill240 the camera does record in 1080 but in order to shorten the upload time I use a lower resolution when saving.

  • That looks like the kodak playsport Zx5, not bad for what it is :)

  • Kodak makes good cameras.

  • i live about an hour from the world head quarters of kodak and they r for the most part bankrupt their stocks closed the other day at .47 cents a share they are about to be delisted on the stock exchange. sad was the largest employer around here in its day with about 60,000 and now about 5-7000 employees

  • Didn't Kodak file for bankruptcy recently? Will they provide support in the future?

  • @IAMLOST Not yet... but they probably will in the next few weeks.... so sad....

  • The scenery outside your window is beautiful. It could be excited to see blue sky and white clouds in my city if recently. Btw, you have so many disks!

  • It looked pretty good here very crisp and sharp....It was nice to see the little room you live in...Lol Dont we all have our special places or spots we use to do whatever we do on our computers

  • Interesting pan shot, Peter. Not often we get a 360° tour of your room, and the new camera handled it well.

  • It looks good! I'm so thrilled that I got to hang out in that room!! Love you, Peter!

  • And a fantastic view of the countryside. Thanks for the tour. Cheers.

  • Hello Peter, you're looking wonderful..... Thanks for sharing your vids! Great review on your Kodak XL5 Camera... It looks lovely!

  • Your room would make any tech savy teenager proud! :D

  • thats a very nice hand held for the money. good buy peter to bad its once gain made in china

  • Looks like a winning camera, Enjoy it in the best!

  • I'd love to look out your window some more! :)

  • awesomemcamera i was thinking of buying it cuz i also like to take vids outside and do reviews on art and tech. thank you for showing it Peter, love from PR

  • Looks good to me! Look forward to seeing more!

  • Great video Peter ...

  • It looks like a pretty good camera Peter, you say it's obsolete but you know that the Industry sometimes makes new models just because the old ones have saturated their market, not because the old ones are bad. Ciao, take care.

  • I love the view from your window!

  • Looking good Peter.

  • You always make me smile =)

  • Nice camera Peter!

  • Just the way a man cave should look.

  • Looks like your new camera is up to the task... Many people who use PCs and Kodak cameras complain that they have to convert the .MOV files made by the Kodak into .AVI or .WMV formats in order to do anything with them... As long as you use the Mac computer with the Kodak's .MOV files your operation should remain absolutely flawless!

  • Anyone know what that computer is called? Looks awesome!

  • @PRODRIFTER97 iMac

  • Great video :)

  • great view from your window, nothing like the horrid view of a generic suburban housing estate :P

  • You are probablly one of the most tech savoy 81 yo in the world.

  • A very good review, I am currently deliberating the purchase of a new camera, trying to find a good balance between quality and price, as my budget is rather limited. I look forward to seeing more of the camera in use!

  • Great video!

I'm sooooo glad you have security cameras!!!! Something else you can do is anchor one end of a BIG, THICK chain into the ground (and I am unanimous and serious about this) then...

get 2 dog bowls. Put water in one and the other bowl, bang up with a wide hammer. This shows that you have a large, strong dog. As an extra touch, put something like, "Killer" or "Cujo" or "Adolf" on the side of the bowl.

    XL5??? Isn't that a spacecraft pulled by string??? :) Mike Mercury? :)

  • You are so delightful.

  • Your camera seems a definite better buy than mine. It does a very good job with all the situation that you put it through with this shot, including the scenery outside the window. The audio is really okay, too. So, overal: No flaws, good buy!

  • That is a good camera ☺

  • It's a bit like a walkthrough going from early to modern day technology, if that made sense. Anyhow, loving the magnificent view from your window Peter :)

  • Geriatric its good to see you still doing videos, I've been watching you ever since you started and all the different videos you did on Geriatric speaks or talks I forget. But I love hearing your stories! Cheers
