So it seems like they are 100% going forward with destroying the ride. I hear they are even taking stuff down before the ride's last night. With this latest turn of events I have cancelled the trip to Universal Orlando that my wife and I were taking in March. Going to Disney instead, unelss they too decide to trash classic attractions for no reason at all.

Can we be mature adults about this and realize it's closing? Petitions and complaints aren't going to change this. They're closing it because they have something in mind to replace it, and I'm sure contracts are signed and budgets are done. Be mature, honor the attraction, but don't act like children. Be happy we got 22 years from Jaws, enjoy its last month if you can, remember it fondly, and let it go.
