Well, the source of anger (fear over the change of power, fear of loss of the status quo, a perception that minorities are "taking over" and fear of the unknown) is not a new source of anger that's for sure. The way that it is being expressed is also not new and the fact that the KKK and other extremist groups have seen a surge in membership since the election is quite telling. Extreme racial bitterness is not new and is something I want to explore further as it appears to be cyclical.

The King of Spain and his wife were there along with the Prime Minister Zapatero. The new Prime Minister of Japan was there, President Lula was there and so was Obama. Thats the only reason why Chicago didn't get them.
