  • what a douch

  • Best reaction. I don't get mad, i sometimes shake my head and cycle onwards. I have places to go and things to do, getting mad at people isn't a healthy habit and doesn't do you any good in the long run. it is also bad for your face if you pick on the wrong person....

  • Inconsiderate jag-off.

  • This is clearly a dickhead cyclists. If you were in a car, and the car pulled out in front of you, you would hit the brakes, and line up behind him. This dickhead cyclist trys to go around, and then pretended to crash into the car. Fuck you cyclists, DIE.

  • what the fuck do you expect??? as far as he could see the was no risk of hittin a cyclist in the cycle lane or a car in the car lane, it was completely your fault for being in the wrong, you'll all the same!!!!!

  • it may be the driver at fault but that wont bring you back to life.

Be careful, do what cars do. Slow down a little for a junction, prepare to brake. Its the exact practice I've been taught and it's saved me from ruining my car, use it to not kill yourself.

  • Should have knocked his mirror off

  • Amazing how calm you remain in all these situations in which you are clearly mistreated in traffic. By comparison, other people posting cycle cam videos swear at the driver in almost all situations (even ones which are less blatant than the one shown here), and usually are out to report pretty much any "offender" (you always hear them shouting out the registration number, so that they can write it down later), which isn't necessarily bad, but it's amazing how different people's tempers can be

  • @longtalker Yes, there is some sense in quoting reg numbers : sometimes a video shows the action but doesn't capture the number. So keeping calm and quoting the number could be a useful habit, as you've noted!

  • @mailpauljonescouk ur on a bicycle get ur ass on the sidewalk, i dont care what the law says u faggot lance armstrong wanna be's need to use the sidewalk, u hold up traffic and then u want us to share the road but yet u all fail to follow the rules

  • @dentonbrowne

I hope you get killed while walking down the side walk by a hoard of cyclist riding at 20 + miles per hour.

  • @hempheadfor20 wow wishing bad upon others? ur very dense and your comment is very belligerent too

  • @dentonbrowne

I thought about what I said...and I still hope you get killed while walking down the side walk by a hoard of cyclist riding at 20 + miles per hour.

  • @hempheadfor20 sorry i dont walk around the streets like u, im not broke i can afford a car

  • @dentonbrowne

Haha! As if you've never stepped foot on a sidewalk!

Your cars a POS and you know it....run along now.

  • @hempheadfor20 idiot, u cant afford the cars i have so u run along

  • I'd have kicked the fucker's mirror off. And when he complained, I would have mentioned that visibility wasn't his strong point......

  • mmm I cycle this passage every morning. I just stay in the cycle lane and stop otherwise this happens. Its a narrow road and the school run is just crazy there

  • In Sydney all cyclists are like this. They ride fast, they are rude, ride 3 abreast, go through red lights, shake their fists at cars driving past them that have to go onto the incorrect side of the road to get around them. They just carry on like morons basically. No wonder you get the odd crazy person behind the wheel of their cars that collect one every now and again. Looks like they are a problem all over the world. In Sydney, they have built bike lanes but they STILL wont use them!

  • @whysohardto Are the cycle lanes in Sydney such good quality that cyclists would choose to use them? Or is it easier to ride in the road? Generally cyclists go where it's easier. That can depend on cycling speed and other things. For example, some cycle lanes on the pavement are OK for a slow cyclists but not fit for purpose for faster cycle commuters. So how about making the bike lanes so good that cyclists want to use them?

  • @mailpauljonescouk. Well this mailpauljonescouk imbocile decided to buy a helmet cam, wire himself up with it (including sound!), and in one of his home videos, he blames a tanker lorry for "coming inches from my handlebars". If ou watch this pricks videos, he is just a trouble maker. Where else is a lorry supposed to go on a narrow road with cars coming the other way? The arrogance of cyclists really suprises me when they are so vulnerable to injury or death. Roads are for cars first im afraid!

  • @whysohardto "Where else is a lorry supposed to go on a narrow road with cars coming the other way?" - wait until there's an opportunity to pass safely, rather than put the cyclist's life at risk to save a couple of minutes of time?

  • @whysohardto You must be a "conservative".

  • If you want to ride your bike around traffic it should be law that you have insurance too! I've had my car scratched and dented before by some numbnut cyclist undertaking me at the lights, hitting a small indentation and flailing all over the side of my car. Guess who had to pay! Get the bus and ride your bikes elsewhere.

  • So.

  • Are there any vids of cyclist getting mad at guys on motorcycles? No. Why? Cause bikers are badass!

  • @basketBallboy235 And bikers are out 2 wheeled brethren and for the most part realise how fucking stupid some people on 4 wheels really are.

  • @basketBallboy235 damn right!

  • while it was clearly the car drivers fault still it needs to said that overtaking in the area of a junction is not the wisest thing to do...

  • cyclist should not have overtaken the other bike before a junction, clearly the cyclists fault

  • @ice7771 Nothing wrong with the cyclists' actions, overtaking slower/less experienced cyclists is advised by the Department for Transport. The driver was in the wrong, failed to look and failed to give way. He was entering the road, the cyclist was already using that lane, therefore the cyclist had full right of way.

  • why can't we all get along? i'm a driver and a cyclist, yeah it gets frustrating being in a car waiting behind a cyclist however, i find even more annoying on my bike when people pull out infront of me and overtake around stupid corners.

the thing motorist have to remember is that if there's an accident between a car and a cyclist legally the cyclist will always win.

  • think your cool biking with a camera? get a life

  • dickhead cuclists should be kept off the road

  • @badgern100 Cyclist can do that. The car should of waited for the biker to pass as if the biker was a car. If the biker weighed like 2,000 pounds then that car would of not cut him off. This also happened to me and lucky a Cop was there Q(''Q) and the driver got a ticket and the driver yelled at me :(

  • @badgern100 - agree'd -"dickhead" cyclists SHOULD be kept off the road - but then again so should "dickhead" DRIVERS

The ones who are decent human beings and look out for other road users are fine though.

  • this happens all the time with me!

  • Good job I dont cycle on the roads cause I'd be fighting all the time, I cycle on the kerb since where I live it aint busy

  • First off, you're flying down the bike path passing other cyclists traveling at a modest speed, you ease into the middle of the street, the car may not have seen you. Second why did you even go into the middle of the street when the bike path is clearly marked. The reason that path is even there is so stuff exactly like this doesn't happen

  • @perun1nj I agree..

  • @perun1nj He was overtaking a slower moving cyclist in the same way a car would overtake a slower moving car.

  • What are you doing in the middle of the raod ... Squeeling bitch !

  • and why the hell dint you stay in the bike lanes?... you are the asshole. and your at fault the video shows nothign else

  • Looks to me like the bicyclist ventured out of the bike lane. Bicyclists fault, the video speaks for itself.

  • so whats the problem? you couldnt just ride around the guy, what were you riding a 3 wheel bike,it happens.big deal.

  • I would have kicked the fuckers car in

  • Too bad, car missed that scumbag cyclist! Get a car and get off the road you turds.

  • lets see high visibility gear..in middle of the lane... yet someone said in a blind spot?

what kind of argument was that..here mcc 9-16-020 f and 9-16-020 e state about making improper turn in front(cut off) of a cyclist,,,it doesnt say illegal turn...mcc 9-40-160 look that one up.. at least in my area.. its law to treat cyclists with same respect as cars..do you run other cars off the road.. pull out stupidly in front of them?

  • You was in his blind spot just as they were looking. They would have only seen the slow cyclist. You should have been more aware of your surroundings and the fact you have a brake. Get over it.

And I'm sure your other video's are good. But this one really isn't just the car drivers fault. And the guy below me who thinks you should stay in the bike lane...6 year old minded, car only driver or what?

  • @GoodFoShizzle totally agree, you can clearly see on this video the car preparing and then commencing to pull out onto the road, and yet cyclist seems to make no effort to slow down just to make a point. If you'd been driving a car would you have done the same thing? no, you would have slowed to allow the car to get up to speed.

  • you should of stayed in the bike lane...your fault

  • Fucking learn to brake you idiot.

  • cyclists are supposed to obey the same traffic laws as if they were in a motor vehicle, yet they do not. ive almost hit many in stl cause they dont stop at stop signs or just pedal in the middle of the road as if they were in a car. but yet, motorists are to "share the road" how bout cycleists share the road and bogart it, a car is way heavier and can do way more dmg.

  • what it is, they look once, but they don't look twice, they are not even paying attention to the tv ads, "stop, look, look again and take a finally check", no doubt they didn't get it.

  • These types of people aren't making mistakes their refusing to regonize bicycles as something to share the fucking road with. i've hit by one of these assholes, and almost hit by tons of others. Hey if i can get a d.u.i. riding a bike drunk then i definately have a right to the road.

  • This really looked more like an innocent mistake on the driver's part than anything. People do make mistakes on the road-- no need to lash out on someone for that.

  • Here's an idea, stay in the f@#$ing bicycle lane with the rest of the five year olds.

  • @ibdfnman Heres an idea - learn the f***ing legal situation before commenting like a 5 year old who has lost his lollypop.

  • id have booted that car making sure my cleats ranover his paintwork - ignorant fucker

  • Bikes and motorcycles are hard to see. I almost hit two and those were the only near wrecks ive had in my 8 years of driving. For some reason the mind just doesnt register bikes... I respect bikers but they sure are hard as shit to see.

  • Hills road is a nightmare. I've have shit at that exact same turning with a car cutting left in front of me.

  • if that was me they would of got ther window smashed in!

  • Like you said...invisible cyclist. Driver stood no chance of seeing the invisible cyclist. Dont be so invisible next time!!

  • why did the cyclist not beat the fuck out of this stupid driver?!

  • @MacTobey

    Because he's a law-abiding gentleman-cyclist.

  • @pseudotruth

at least a little bit of bottle throwing would be ok!

  • I am a cyclists but I have a license and car also, the guy driving the car is a prick. He as a good and aware driver should have looked ahead and seen there was no where to go, all for the sake of a few seconds patients. Most drivers unlike myself act like you own the road, truth be told I would love one day for you punks to get out so I can kick box your head with my perfectly toned and tanned calf muscles hahaha

  • if you ask me i think the whole thing was staged but im a fan of invisibility ^_^ hope the invisibility thing can happen in real life (and not just cheap camera tricks like what we have so far as of today. we need to be invisible without needing a camera to project)

  • well if you stayed in the cycle lane you prick, that wouldnt have happened

  • @BlindAmbitionband Take a look at highway code rules 61 and 63. Just for fun, come back on and post your findings.

See the bits where it says "not compulsory"?

The fact is that bad drivers will pull out on cyclists regardless of their use of cycle lanes. The cyclist in this video did absolutely nothing wrong. If you can't see that, you are part of the reason our roads are so unsafe for everyone from pedestrian to driver.

  • @BlindAmbitionband

    a) It is not mandatory for cyclists to use any cycle facility in the UK.

    b) On-road cycle lanes are dangerous, they encourage frequent dangerous close passing, which does NOT happen anything like as frequently where no cycle lane exists!

    google

The Effect of Cycle Lanes on Cyclists’ Road Space - Pete Owens

    and

The effect of cycle lanes on the proximity between motor traffic and cycle traffic Parkin & Meyers

  • i wish more of you guys would run into these cars. just scratch up the side or fake fall over their hood. it would make for awesome video

  • Comment removed

  • should of broke his side mirror

  • If I had side mirrors as trophies I would need a bigger wall !

  • Cyclists like all citizens also pay for roads. The cyclist in the video actually pays road tax for two motor vehicles but chooses to leave them at home. It is possible to encourage cycling by making it cheap, easy and safe leading to shorter traffic jams. Otherwise add another vehicle to the queue at each traffic light for each cyclist who jumps in the car instead.

  • @mailpauljonescouk ...doesn't matter ifthe damage is light....it's still damage...and i must be compensated for it...it's funny this old comment came up again 'cause i forced one of you assholes into the ditch just yesterday....OFF THE ROAD

  • @mailpauljonescouk - thats a deflection of the question. who pays for you runnin into the car?

also, in thsi video, the cyclist left the cycle lane into a vehicle area. had he shown patience, he would have rode right behind the car, without issues.

  • @mailpauljonescouk Damn right.

  • @mailpauljonescouk He wasnt talking about taxes. He was talking about insurance. Cyclists can be at fault too.

  • @rforracing Legally you dont need it to cycle. However if proved at fault, or suspected of being so by a driver's insurer, or another road user's lawyer, you can still be persued through the courts for damages or personal injury etc.

Insurance has nothing to do with liabilities and cyclists are proven to be low risk to others or their property here.

  • @mailpauljonescouk 'The cyclist in the video actually pays road tax for two motor vehicles but chooses to leave them at home'

so what? ive got a car..i pay tax, got a motorbike.. pay tax for that too, and a road legal quad.. oh yeah guess what.. thats right more tax get my point?

2 of them are left at home as i can only use one at a time so i should only pay for one of them right??

when i ride my mountain bike i use the paths its safer.. roads are for motor vehicles

  • @mailpauljonescouk He does still have a point though. Let's say some cyclist hits my car, he rides into the back of me say. Who pays for the potential damage? I'm afraid he has a very good point. My car costs more than 30 bikes put together. Your point is valid, but so is his.

  • Because your driving a 70mph 1ton missile you tube!(.com). A bike rattling off you is hardly going to give you a scratch....besides, that's what your fists are for!. Also, if you have your "trained/tested" observation skills then use them and anticipate others. This cyclist on this clip should have given that car a BOOT imo.

PS.... I've got 2 cars and a bike and am not biased!.

  • all it takes is a scatch...thats why you need insurance...not fists....i see cyclists all the time riding up through the center of lanes...no helmets....not stopping for stop signs/lights...and nothing is done even if police are present...if i do it i get pulled over and charged...if you gave me a "boot"...you would get away with it to...unless you had a lic. plate and ins.

  • Ive been invloved in a handfull of road indicents none of with were my fault for example numerous people pulling out on me damage has been done on bothsides theyve either payed for a new bike or fixed all damages ha h a

  • but if is your fault...and you damage the car....do you stop? how are you paying for the damage? i've been driving for20 yrs...never had an accident...but i still need ins. incase i cause damage to someone's property....no matter how small the damage

  • u can never blame the cyclist for ride ing the the road if u get hit by one and u pulled out etc on them its best to pay them for damages before it becomes a cort or insaurence matter the driver never wins.

  • so your telling me if i'm stopped at a traffic light and a cyclist gets beside me and for some reason loses control of the bike and hits my car...he's not responsible for the damage?

  • @maidenrulz73 How was that like this. The motorist pulled out in front of the cyclist and did not give way. You CAGERS will blame the cyclist in ANY SITUATION!

  • @KrunchyJD It's obvious why though. It's always the cyclist's fault. If they were wearing high vis, a helmet, payed "road tax", carried insurance, had to take a test and most importantly... stayed away from the roads... preferably not leaving the house at all - then they wouldn't be pulled out on/hit/left hooked and so on.

I mean be reasonable - how is it NOT the cyclist's fault? ;o)

  • @maidenrulz73 You say this after you see a car driver being a total idiot!

Bikes dont cause pollution, congestion, asthma, cancer, and bikes lower obesity.

    What next pedestrian registration?

  • @maidenrulz73

You do not pay a licence to drive on the roads. If that were true, then why do electric cars and band A vehicles up to 100 gm CO2 per km pay zero VED?

The VED is a licence to pollute!

Please at least try to get your facts right before trying to mis-educate us.

Road Tax was abolished in ~1937!

BTW, you might consider having a go at uninsured motorists who drive and cause a great deal more damage and pose a greater risk to you and your car than any cyclists.

  • @maidenrulz73 Nearly every indemnity insurance covers accidents by bike...at least mine...in Germany ;P

  • @maidenrulz73 Bikes are not lethal machines. It is the same as if someone on rollerblades or someone sprinting hit your car. Well over 99% of incidents involving bikes and pedestrians being hit my a motor vehicle is infact because of the motor vehicle's driver doing something wrong. Also you pay for repairs on roads and for having an impact on the invironment. Learn why you pay tax instead of assuming it is only to be able to use the road.

  • @NAMkiller well this guy can just go where he wants....he's in the bike lane then out on the road....drivers cant tell what they are gonna do next ....get them off the road!!!!

  • @maidenrulz73 IMO if there is a cycle lane it should be used, I always use it when I cycle anywhere. It seems as if he was just overtaking another cyclist after looking back at it again.

  • @maidenrulz73 What the fuck has that got to do with this?

  • @leapoffaith20 what has what got to do with this? i can't keep track of all the comments from you dickhead cyclists.......just get off the fucking road would ya

  • @maidenrulz73 two things i'm saying to you know

one-say that to my face and I will shove the bike up your pissin arse and tell you try riding it.

We do actually pay a bit, note, you pay fuel and tax and insurance...but by law you need a helmet and it's highly recommended you do cycling proficiency (or bike safe as it's now known). I pay insurance @£120 a month for a road racing bike which also covers my home insurance too...word to the dumbasses like you. fuck off ¬_¬

  • @MattySP34Ks..... LOL......SCARY STUFF........GET OFF THE FUCKING ROAD!

  • @maidenrulz73 I'd happily give you scary, being hit by a bus twice within 10 minutes. now before you grow some balls, change your name to justin fagbrain bieber and grow some thighs. then maybe you might be able to catch up with us.

  • @MattySP34Ks YOU CANT BE TOO FAST......YOU COULDN'T GET AWAY FROM THAT BUS

  • lol this guy gets so much shit on his bike :/

  • first off all; in some states; or places; what that cyclist did was very legal.. i know i ive in boone nc and while they have sidewalks its against the law for cyclists to bike on them as they are ment for students at the local university. The real problem here isnt the bike path; the real problem is the cyclist is invisible because hes behind another cyclist and at the last moment trys to pass the other cyclist and the car when he makes this pass has alrdy made the intent to pull out

  • The cyclist in this video is a real idiot. Even if the driver was wrong, the cyclist should be on the defense, and not breaking the law (by leaving the designated cyclist lane). And, if he has to pass, do it legally.

  • This is in the UK, it's NOT ILLEGAL to move out of a cycle lane, (though always wise to look before you do), the solid white line means that other vehicles can not enter it, and must give way to cycles already in the lane if they need to turn across it.

  • Comment removed

  • Does no one else notice the cyclist leaves the designated cylist lane? I bet the cyclist just in front of the camera which he was trying to overtake, got past the car no problem. Cyclists fault clearly (i dont drive and have no prior bias to anything).

  • now replace that cyclist with a motorbike and you have a completely different story

  • fucking cyclists get off the fucking road!

  • You should have stopped in his path then seen how nice he thought it was!!!

  • The driver are totally wrong, he have the stop sign !!!!

  • 1 a solid white line is not to be crossed if ur in a car or on a bike and 2 i drive in cambridge often reason cambridge is so congested at times is becasue there is to many cylists trying to pass each other and blocking the road

  • Comment removed

  • Just to note, i'm car driver, that prat look right long enough when pulling you, don't you just wish there were a copper in every corner.

  • sorry, ment to put, "that prat DIDN'T look right long enough when pulling out, otherwises he would of seen you.

  • mailpauljonescouk i have watched many of your videos. i live in aylesbury and i cycle a lot around towns, i find that this happens far too often.

this is one of the worst cases in all of your videos. its a good idea to film your cycling trip to expose these idiots.

you should have knocked on his window and pulled infront of him, and had a chat with him about how he pulled infront of you beforehand. and film the conversation.

    he was an asshole

    keep up the good work!

  • actually the cycalist is pretty dumb to decide to ignore the fact a driver is goig to pull out in front of him

also note to inteminate the drivers of the car he gets very close to the car that pulled out in front of him

just does not make sense to go this fast if a car is about to pull out does it?

  • how would the cyclist know even if hes indicating the driver could av waited for the cyclist cos of rigth of way

  • man thing is if ur in a car or on a bike going across a solid white line is ILLEGAL

  • Noop. Look up 'Mandatory cycle lane' and giving way to traffic already on the road you wish to join.

  • invisible bikers rule!!!!!! they never get in your way!!!!!!!

  • All this driver did was to stop the cyclist's pace. Had the cyclist observed the situation with a bit of wisdom he would have simply had gone around the car's backside on the left.

  • Should have given his rear door a nice dent. Or if you're too timid to cause damage I find that an open-handed slap to a window is usually enough to catch even the most inattentive drivers' attention.

  • Carry a shackle lock and use it on his paintwork!

  • The car driver is in the wrong here not the cyclist

  • what u need is a long metal pump like mine. it can do serious damage. swing it around like a cowboy and whack anything that gets in ur way.

  • Pay to regester (or MOT) you piece of shit bike, then you might get some respect!!!!!

    TWAT!!!!!

  • na... am fine thanks. my trek madone 6.5 costs enough (probably more than ur shl car flankdrive04). cry me a river haha.

  • You ever heard of breaking, before an accident , suspose that was a child the cyclest nearly hit...

  • Should have squeezed up drivers side and booted the arses mirror off!

  • Would have even been possible w/o doing damage.

But a nice bimp with the flat hand onto the roof odf the car (very noisy and no damage), while passing by, would have done a good job.

  • i can't believe you didn't fist the car - it's my "audible means of approach"

  • Tempting but counterproductive in my experience (for some reason motorists react as if this is an assault on their person - odd psychology when surrounded by a defensive metal cage!) unless you're about to get squashed by a vehicle veering sideways into you.

  • ok ???

  • Aren't you supposed to stay in the bike lane...your in the middle of the road holding up traffic

  • No, it's not required for cyclist to stay in cycle lane. As usual the traffic jam is composed of less efficient modes of transport (often single occupant cars) that occupy road space without actually being able to go anywhere, because they're all getting in each other's way.

  • Still doesn't seem safe to drive in the middle of the road like this

  • I suppose it depends what you're used to! Before moving right into the road, I'd look behind to ensure there's nothing about to overtake and signal clearly. You can't see that as the camera's looking forward. Pulling out and stopping the oncoming traffic is just rude. If I was driving, I don't think the car would have pulled out at all. Why?

  • I can't figure out why the car just stops there are they trying to turn

  • Yes, basically just driving across the main traffic flow (if you can call it that - look at the stationary car park in the road on the opposite side). Going from one side road into another... maybe trying to avoid the traffic jam by hopping between side streets... perhaps searching for a parking place... and last in my list of probabilities maybe actually making a necessary move from one place to another in a direct line that could not have been done on foot or bike or by using the main road

  • @Kartracer6 ...'cause he's cutting the bike off...i do it all the time....just yesterday i almost forced some f'king biker into the ditch.....and it was sweeeeet!

  • @maidenrulz73 Clever boy, posting an admission of a public order offence (sect 51 iirc) on a public website. Even if you delete it its in the system... You must be the envy of your friends with the single brain cell, LMAO!

    Idiot.

  • That is a common misconception. It's actually safer to be in the middle of the lane because the cyclist is more visible. Car drivers expect to see vehicles in the middle of the lane, they often forget to look at the side of the lane where a bicycle might be.

If you look back at the video, you'll see that the driver didn't see the cyclist because he was too far left. If the cyclist had been in the middle of the lane from the beginning, I suspect the driver would have seen him and not moved out.

  • No, he's not supposed to stay in the bike lane.

The cyclist is not holding up traffic at all. In fact in this instance, the car is holding him up!

The cyclist looked before pulling out to make sure he wasn't pulling out in front of any other cars.

I'm sure if a car was behind him wanting to get past, he'd have pulled to the left to allow the car to overtake (assuming it was safe for the car to do so)

  • I guess he did pull out prematurely. He figures he's bigger why not.

  • this is your fault! not the drivers! nob

  • errr... familiar with the highway code?

In a driving test if you pull out of a side road so a vehicle on the main road has to slow or even stop (including bikes) then it is an instant fail.

If it were me on the bike, that idiot in the car would have recieved an egg on the back window!!!!

  • The highway code clearly states that when you pull out you must not make any other road user deviate or slow down, which is exactly what the car driver did.

I bet the car driver was oblivious to what he/she had done.

  • What type of camera did you use?

  • It's an Aiptek DV 5700 on a RAM handlebar mount

  • As a avid American/england cyclist myself I understand the rules of the road in both countries and As cyclists we need to learn to mold with cars, I agree this cyclist is provoking drivers.

  • It's a 2-way thing so perhaps the cars could mould with the bikes, which are already more or less forced to mould with cars? I was in China recently and noticed how well the traffic blended together. Notably the cars were being driven less aggressively and more slowly in the vicinity of cyclists.

  • Its very tempting to kick her wing mirror off then cycle on. May make her look twice next time

  • this is true comedy. You over took another bike at a foolish place, obscured the drivers vision and then moan - tell you what paul, get a life

  • you are actually going out with the intention of filming these videos arent you - there is a bike lane, a cyclist ahead of you and you see a car trying to pull out, accelerate swerve the road, and attack him! what you havent learnt is that people slow down to let others out. that car could have been waiting fukin ages, theres a massive gap in between 2 cyclists which he could make it thru, but tough luck you are on the road

  • makes it worse that he stops immediatly after cutting them off

  • oh ok sorry

I saw this person passing another cyclist so that is why I thought that

  • why was the person on the bike in such a hurry to try to get past the car?

    Is it a race

  • It may look like the cyclist is racing but at 15 - 20 mph that's a lot slower than many cars. I think the motorist who pulls out isn't really willing to recognise oncoming cyclists and if he/she sees one, driver psychology ignores on an "I'm bigger than you" basis. Would behave differently if car approaching at same speed. I know : I drive too.

  • You complain in your other videos about other vehicles overtaking in silly places, but when you as a cyclist does it and it goes wrong you STILL COMPLAIN

  • Obviously the car driver didn't look twice before pulling out and misjudged your speed. Could this have been avoided if you stayed behind the other cyclist instead of overtaking? I guess in doing so, the drivers view of yourself was obscurred by the other cyclist (see 9 to 11 seconds in the video) and see if you can see the drivers window.

  • And I've just had a thought on this one. Should the car have really pulled out as he needed to stop to make a right turn. Not positioned straight so cars passing it on the left to get by would probably go in the cycle lane - something for other cyslists to contend with.

  • You should have gone on and knocked his mirror off with your handlebars!
