Actually there is no contradiction and Muslims misinterpret what Paul is saying. There is nothing wrong if I do something bad and confess it to you and then ask God for forgiveness. Only God can forgive sins, not people, and you Muslims miss this point. There is no contradiction here between Paul and Jesus.

LONG before I picked up a Qur'aan I found contradictions in the bibles and no Christian can convince me otherwise. I've been reading the bible (KJV) a LOT more AFTER becoming Muslim and the contradictions are more readily apparent. If following the example of Jesus(pbuh) makes Christians better people I just can't knock it, but I don't believe many Christians believe in God the way Jesus did... What's the point of confession when God simply already KNOWS? In Islam when a mistake/error is realized one simply asks God's forgiveness and follows through with good deeds. I made confession once and only once in my life at Holy Child Jesus Catholic church in Queens, NY after my parents separated and IT MADE NO SENSE to me... that priest never saw me a day in his life before that but he knew the prescription for my forgiveness according to what I was willing to admit to him?

You are incorrect. That is just some rhetoric wielded by anti-christian people who try to destroy the credibility of both individuals. There is no contradiction between Jesus(from the bible) and Paul.

*rolls eyes* This is a classic argument but the truth is both Paul and Jesus do not contradict each other. Paul has a true teaching about Jesus and the twelve apostles accepted him.
