Thank you so much for this. I went right to Adorama and ordered this. While I was there I ordered my first ever modifier( softlighter) and a stand. This little bracket will save me from having to monkey with a DIY add-on to angle the flash.

I just watched your other vids and subscribed. You are going to be a real help to this rank beginner....

great simple tip. is the body of the bracket plastic??

It is plastic, but it looks and feels like a high impact plastic.

Thanks so much for posting this. I have a similiar bracket but was stumped a little because I wanted to do what you did with feathering the light. It never occured to me to just switch which end I attached to the lightstand.. doh! (smile)
