did u ever see Mike Moore's movie Sicko ? if u did then u will recall the Americans who moved to France for a job and they can't believe how good the government treats it's citizens to the point that they feel guilty for having all the social benefits when compared to what friends and family have back in the US..one person explained it like this "in France the government fears the people in the US the people fear the government"
You (I'm from the Netherlands with fairly affordable high quality healthcare) live 6 years less in the USA, not just because of your healthcare system, but likely also because a big percentage of your food is mediocre quality super-mass production food and because your average food choices are simply worse than that of most other highly developed countries :)
the food is highly processed and full of additives made of meat full of hormones and antibiotics artificial deadly sweeteners high-fructose corn syrup etc

how are all the unemployed going to have health insurance without a job, national health plan with public option is good idea..we need it and its crazy to think its going to work any other way.I was always told the more people on health plan the cheaper the coverage???
