If the wii is the only console you've got, the 09 all play edition is the best. Otherwise I'd get a PS2 one. And also, you can do 2 player, and up to 4 players actually.

yep u can do that. wii madden is definitely the best wii football game, and one of the best video games for all of the consoles today. the graphics for the wii are only a tiny bit worse than ps3 and 360, but the gameplay is easily much better and its really cool to use the wii remote to play

not really, i play real football and I think that sometimes I just want to sit down and play a game. The swinging stuff just makes it more complicated than it needs to be. It's easier just using buttons, not to mention funner

Well on Madden 08 they're a bit unresponsive, and had many minor flaws. I got Madden 09 and the fixed EVERYTHING, it feels much more natural now.

But it seems interesting. Its a bit harder with normal controls because there is so much that comes into play. With the Wii, its basic hand movements that control the character. I have to say that Nintendo has made the first break through in video game control evolution.
