I used to love watching American Chopper, and I recently started watching it again. However, I cant stand the way Pohl and that one guy are constantly bashing Paul Jr for starting his own design firm. The last I saw they dont own a business. At least Paulie owns his own business. Those two are nothing buta couple of peeons who can go out the door anytime.

Pohl is a joke.Anyone can design bikes using a computer.If it were up to him to do any raw fab work,they'd never get anything done...I never liked him and he fits right in withSr.Two know it alls that dont have a clue to life..

Without Vinny and Codey,the show"s going down hill. OCC has gone stradily downhill iwth their desings and bikes. What I think is going to put them under is the last bike they built for the TLC show.The Natural Gas bike. They could not fabricate a gas tank cover(natural gas requires a special tank that can be pressurized)to look like a real bike tank so they formed it out of fiberglass!!!! WTF!!!?? fiberglass chopper? and they did it just to "get it done" WTF.

I think you are correct in your assessment. Sr. has pushed away his OWN family ( Both Son's ) and replaced them with complete strangers. The Original show was, 01-Paul Jr.,02-Vinnie, 03-Paul Sr., 04-Dan. Sr. may own the shop, But Jr. and Vinnie were by far the Masterminds of the Bikes. This was more than proven by two separate builds between father and son. Jr. won hands down in BOTH events. Sr. was mere Comic relief. Unfortunately Sr.s poison may have poisoned more than just his own Son's.

Yes.You are correct.Actually, my screw-up. I originally wrote,"04-Dan".When I wrote that, I could not remember for certain what"Ricks"name was.( Afterall. He is the most softspoken of the group ). They were making a Craftsmen Chopper for their Corporate and designed Saw blade spinners that ended up grinding against the rim and Paul Sr. said "leave it, at least they still spin, wont it just wear in eventually" and i was like ...... @Van8allen i agree with ya. and anybody who knows the basics to bike building knows if the wheel is grinding then its usually the bearings are bad or some was left out when putting it together. it will lock up going down the highway and killing who ever is riding it. sad but true.

If anything, OCC probably betrayed Vinnie at the least. I have always wondered why Vinnie left OCC. Especially since there did not appear to be any problems between he and the Tuttle's. The suddeness of his departure has always been suspect to me. I suspect that he felt he was due a larger piece of the pie than he was getting. As he has been with OCC from the beginning of OCCs TV debut. He was a part of OCCs Meteoric rise. I'd bet that Sr. refused to increase Vin's slice, leaving Vin no choice.
