Strange how people do not accept miracles is it not. I am near conversion after an extraordinary experience in Medjugorje, where I felt within the truth. It is not a delusion, it is an opening of the heart. I did not see Mary but I felt her so strongly I was filled with wonder. Religious dogma from protestant narrow mindedness no longer interests me.

@sagautrek The best way to explain the catholic "honoring Mary or the saints" is that people feel unworthy to go directly to God or Jesus with their requests. It's a form of humility. Many Christians have since learned we have the right- Jesus gave us that right--- to go directly in and ask for help.

I think deep down thirdeyeeagle is okay, but he should realise that we are not worshipping Mary, we are honouring her as indeed God did by choosing her to be the Mother of her son.We worship God.

You will know them by their fruits, and Mary's verbal messages are asking us to turn back to GOD and pray for conversion of unbelievers, as she does not want their condemnation. bad fruit...? And I don't think you would like Jesus reading your description of HIS MOTHER.She might have a place in heaven.
