Serj did well but it's way too little orchestra going on in relation to Serj's singing imho.

I dunno, maybe I miss the beauty of it but honestly I think it sounds like Serj hired the wrong orchestra. =/

I don't want to compare artists or anything but... Try a search on youtube; "Mike Patton´s Mondo Cane - 16 - Storia D´amore" and that explains how a much more active, louder orchestra that follows the singing more clearly will make it all much more epic.

@Jetpilotwacker it wasn't he who hired the orchestra to begin with. he had a friend that played in this orchestra, and they were interested in doing something with him. besides, the adaptation of the songs into orchestral instruments was made by both serj and the members of the orchestra. so if you got someone to blame, it's both of them. I personally think this combination was perfect. sure, it shows more of serj's singing, but he's the big star, right?
