My favorite game series are MGS, Sly Cooper, and Prince of Persia but by far my favorite game is MGS3:Snake Eater.

yeah, its defiantly the best game series around. my opinion, gears runs a close second, but nothing for me can beat the sort of james bond style they mixed into MGS3 subsistence. (snake eater drives me crazy after playing subsistence)

I always used to put on thermal goggles while using the shotgun in mgs 3, so you had a crosshair in first person mode. Beat the crap out of the fear

the metal gear movie will never be good. No movie can capture what makes metal gear great. IT has a certain "spunk" that makes it awsome and epic. Also everyone who plays metal gear without viewing cutscenes and then complaining there is not enough gameplay should be shot

The spunk i think is how it can mix sci fi and real life in a realistic yet sometimes ridicolous way. Im probably not gonna get any more metal gear games because imo it should have ended with four. It seems like konamis starting to milk there own franchise.

@coolestcats i think he hasn't explained it enough between mgs1 and mgs2 what happened in those 3 years between shadow moses and the tanker and also he should make the mgs where he fights frank jaugger in zansbar (sorry for misspells) and who he really killed he didn't kill big boss or soildus so who did he kill?

try tactical reloading very fast, much faster to fire during the chase, especially the rpg, u can fire like 10 easily on the shagohods drills(not much damage) or fire the shotgun or whatever u choose very fast.

this is awsome! but 1 problem..... the brawl encounter song playes for everything! why cant u just let the cutscenes play thair music and not ruined metal gear music from brawl

yeah lol i got metal gear solid when i was 5 or 6 back in 1998 it was the first game i've ever beat and i do say i am a true veterian of the game beat it on all levels mostly and im so diehard i've bought a gamecube for only the twin snakes when it came out and a ps3 first chistmas it came out same with mgs4 just mainly for the game

bro im 13 and i bought this game the day it came out!!!ive watched my brother play and beat mgs1 daily i watched him play mgs2 and mgs2 sons of liberty and i played mgs3 and now i beat mgs4 guns of the patriots now i will own all in metal gear solid rising!!! im the mgs expert!im a lover this is the best game and hopeful the best movie!!!
