@spiricn it's SDL with a little bit of sugar, spice and everything nice ;). Yes, one core of CPU (Intel Core Duo T2300). It's only pixel manipulation with a little bit of 90s computer scene trickery. And it has nothing to do with real physics - it's programmed so it looks bit like fire but it's not a simulation - just a visual effect - that's why it's fast.
Wait, you're telling the fire effect was done in SDL using the CPU only? How is that even possible :S
