verryyy interesting. A+ in creativity. but its too fuckin scary for me, i think its the lack of soft anco guitars and instead these snorting sounds in the background. maybe try mastering it a little better...................kitties
@zildjiandrummer1 Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you checked it out. I don''t think the mastering will make it happier, when I write my songs it's kind of like a dream, I'm not good and controlling or having a preconception of how I want it. that's actually how I started this project. I surrender expectations. I keep the parts that spark me, like how we remember dreams we like, or ones that terrify- maybe you'll remember this version better now!
@ryandzim im not talking about making it happier, but it sounds like all the parts are right there in front of you all at full volume. im no music engineer but maybe if you reduced the levels of some of the deeper percussion and that snorting, and possibly put more of a stereo effect on the deeper sound effects, it might sound lighter (not as heavy). but i make music the same way you do, i just do it, so i can see where you're coming from. ps diggin the psychedelic feel
@zildjiandrummer1 ah I misunderstood ya, sry, I've had that critique often on some tunes, partly it's the inability to have great studio to eq everything special for dimension, but I worship The Wall Of Sound Approach. I was a prog doom metal musician for yrs, I love unrelenting heavyin the fluffy genre of music-acapella! no one does it!? but yes, dynamic is critical. Listen to my "glow in the dark river" "this is for you" or "bazooka firefly",it's sonic love with restraint :)
