I live in Southern Ontario on the border with the US, I've also lived in Alberta and New Brunswick and yes, Canadians DO have an accent. It's in the "A" that I really notice it. Taylor has it more here than anything I've seen him in. He's HAWT!
@gamingXwidow Naw man, Detroit sucks. Haha, just kidding. I guess I can't really say anything when my favourite team is the Leafs and they haven't won in the longest time.
wow i never really noticed what a strong canadian accent he has before; prob cause he had to mask it for the roles i've seen him in (FNL, x-men, an gospel hill(LOVED HIM IN THAT MOVIE, SO SWEET, YOU JUST WANTED TO HUG HIM, at least i did cause i know a girl who acts like how that chick treated him, an i hate that. but i'm getting off subject)) THANK YOU CANADA FOR DUDES LIKE HIM AN RYAN REYNOLDS!!!!
@amberherself Haha! Yeah! We talk kinda slower and say "Uuhh..." in our sentences and at the end of a question sometimes "Eh". I've caught myself like for example "This is some nice weather eh?!"
So - Everyone who'd like to see Taylor Kitsch starring in a proper ice hockey movie (along the lines of FNL) - - PLEASE copy and paste this and spam the hell out of everyone!! All fans c'mon!!
I totally disagree, I LOVE his Canadian accent!! He has such a strong Canadian accent it makes me melt. But I am not trying to put down your opinion, I just wanted to state my own :)
what do you mean canadian accent? I'm canadian and I'm just curious if you can hear a difference between his and an american accent (not a southern american accent obviously)
Totally agree - I'm from Western Canada and I can hear it HARDCORE! Even in FNL I can hear him slip into his British Columbia accent once and a while. It makes me completely squeeful every time!
Canadians totally DO have an accent (and not just the Eastern Canada 'A-Boot' accent). Even within Alberta here I can hear the differences between Northern Alberta and Southern Alberta. You just have to have an ear for it I guess. :)
What do you mean his "real" accent? WTF. He talks the same in movies and tv shows... And jblovebug38, that's not really Canadian accent. It's called southern.
You need to clean out your ears, he clearly has a different accent here than he does on Friday Night Lights. He puts on a Texan accent for it, and in Wolverine too, he has a southern accent becasue the character of Gambit is supposed to be from the south.
him and I are so alike, he likes hockey, i like hockey, his favorite team is the redwings, I was raised watching the redwings, his favorite player was stevie y, my favorite player was stevie y, him and I as so perfect for each other.
F^CH YES!!! Hells yes Red Wings are the Best!!!!
