He used a simulater within Blender. It's suprisingly easy to so simple stuff.

should have made the liquid a higher resolution, and set to a non viscous liquid. But otherwise, well done.

thanks... but yeah, um test.... takes forever to bake let alone render. Other tactics now employed... I'll save the liquid for when 8 core powermacs are a bit cheaper!!!
