  • @saniael Kitchener street Toowoomba, Australia

  • Matt Crowe

i just saw this , it's a beautiful place ina bad time, that was two months ago,

  • when this happend in melbourne i got about 50 green/blue bins in my front yard i live in a court by the way

  • The last few years have brought extremes of amazing standards.

    Floods, Cyclones, Bushfires, HeatWaves, ETC.

    Whats next?

  • @LukeMcBrick i agree with you.....and to top it all, experts are saying that cyclones of increaing intensity are going to be a regular penomenon in qld....no wonder the real estate prices would have collapsed in qld

  • @LukeMcBrick you forgot earthquakes, mud slides and tsunami

  • the flood never choose rich or poor !!! but My 2004-2006 Porsche Carrera GT..just get under the flood ^^

  • i feel sorry for the people in qld i only live in nsw and just sitting in my loungeroom and picturing a shitload of water come rushing through the room is somthing i would rather not experience my best wishes go out to all people in the floods and i made a donation of $150 which isnt much but im only 14 and it made me feel a bit better as ive had my house burnt to the ground from a natural disaster (bush fire) and i know the feeling of having nothing left then what ur wearing :(

  • @bwb4lyf why the fuck would you waste 150 bucks

  • @GTA4Life666 Fuck you, You try going through losing everything you own. Watch your fucking mouth

  • @GTA4Life666 You dip shit hope you die of cancer!!!! for a 14 year old to be donating that much is awesome, look at you user name im pretty sure you would spent 150 on video games! n if you lucky try n lose your virginity with $150 f***ing retard look at who u sub 2 relationship help..... need more to be said?

  • @92JMC 1. I wouldn't spend it on video games, I made this account when I was 12 and got GTA, I barely even play it anymore.

    2. And unlike you most normal people don't use hookers, I don't care what you do but keep it to yourself.

    3. I'm not subscribed to any relationship help channels, lol, I'm only 15. And I'm surprised you even took the time to check my subscribers to put together you're shitty argument.

  • @bwb4lyf Your 14 and donated $150? Good on you mate, us aussies are proud of ya.

  • very gd just a pity only a few aussies died rip jimmy blacksmith

  • oh my god,persevere !

  • thats what yall get for livin in sin, learn turn back to God or nexy time it a be alot worse, and while u at it u dumb aussis learn how swim lol

  • @MrImsokewl your a prick, lots of people lost there vehicles in this flood and preaching about god is pretty pointless when your commenting of a video of a natural occurrence in the environment . Why don't you try and keep your religious beliefs to your self? Kay thanks

  • @MrImsokewl We are a country surrounded by water, so most of us know surf rescue (CPR, etc) AND know how to swim. We're not stupid: this was a FLASH FLOOD! You can't just swim. People have been risking their lives to help. Perfectly good people have lost everything BUT their lives and the clothes on their back. Fifteen people are dead, and dozens more missing. There is nothing funny about your comment. Please, keep your twisted thoughts to yourself. Thanks.

  • @MrImsokewl l It may interest you to know that Australia has more competant swimmers per capita than any other country in the world. And a hell of a lot more than the US.

And no one gives a shit about your god damn pathetic religious beliefs.

  • @MrImsokewl yeah I'm real sure everyone who believes in god and does not sin never has anything bad happen to them..... YOU FUCKING SPASTIC.

  • @MrImsokewl did you know slandering other people in another country is a sin? and that laughing at another people's pain isnt exactly holy either? kinda very hypocritical for someone whose 'advising' people to turn back to God because we 'live in sin'. ill like to see you try and swim in a flash flood.

by the way, you're not funny.

  • @MrImsokewl Ever heard of a few people like Ian Thorpe, Michael Klim, Grant Hackett, Matt Welsh, Kieran Perkins. Susie Oniell, Lesiel Jones, Stephanie Rice, just to name a few. All have won gold medals at the olympics. Yeh mate were pretty fucking good at swimming. you trying to say you never sin? mr perfect huh? moron... this has nothing to do with god

  • @MrImsokewl Maybe you could learn to spell before you criticize anyone. I really doubt you or anyone from your family or church would be able to swim in a flash flood.

  • "floodqld.com" come here to discuss flood

  • I JUST UPLOADED NEW FOOTAGE of SUNCORP STADIUM BIGGEST STADIUM IN AUSTRALIA UNDER WATER

  • USQ, not at all. It's at a high part of town. Basically everything runs away from it. The Japanese gardens were all but washed away - dirt paths don't cope so well with water. :S

  • hey how bad was usq hit by this

  • Good luck. I hope you guys can servive this massive flood.

be safe. this reminds me of 2004 tsunami.

    greetings from Sri Lanka.

  • @ss77ss Thank u my friend, hope things r back to normal over there 2, that tsunami was epic, woulda been 5 times this much water, ppl forget that disasters like these take years 2 recover,

  • From drought to this...

  • this is Geddes street....OMG!!!!

  • umm they are, gillard and anna gave both 1million dollars, the rest has been up to the tax payer and generous people in are community giving money - they raised over 10 million the other night....but thats the people doing it not the gov

  • is that a chocolate river mmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • @corradosexy Willie Wonka is gonna have a headache

  • You better back that truck up stupid!!!! DUH!

  • Comment removed

  • @wards787 Just saying that you're a fuckhead. I never flame on this site but it's a given that money is just being poured into helping with this disaster. There's no way that you can tell me that they're doing all that they are with just 1 million dollars. Seriously, just shut the fuck up next time.

  • @valcarni1 What are you talking about?

  • Sorry for the people who died, the banks broke and the water rushed out I heard, 8 meters high , wow

  • @pbKnAvE - Awe-inspiring is right!

    Sorry for your loss, Toowoomba.

  • you cant kill a hilux

  • @mitchpratty This could almost be a quality Toyota Hilux ad if the whole thing wasn't quite a tragic natural disaster.

  • @mitchpratty scientifically proven by Top Gear

  • @mitchpratty you can kill a person though

  • so banged up..

  • The video opens with a black Holden wagon down Geddes St to the Herries/Kitchener St intersection.

The white 4 door ute is about to turn onto Kitchener St before turning around in the little car park in the cul-de-sac in Geddes St.

  • I grew up in Tooowoomb so appreciate the postings of this . I didn't know it was possible for it to flood there, there was never even the slightest rise of water despite torrential rain at times. I am stunned. What a shock for the people who live there.

  • amazingly, this is one of the safer parts-other bits in Toowoomba...

  • EPIC !!!!!

  • @351XE 9 people died and 66 are still missing, no, it's not epic.

  • @JKalama25799752 no its up to 70 now

  • @JKalama25799752 What the fuck, it's crazy!

  • @jesh2themax I know, what's even more crazy is I went for a drive to Brisbane's CBD, GHOST TOWN, no one was there! people are saying it's gonna go up to 80 metres high thursday.

  • @JKalama25799752 21 metres actually >.<

god i swaear i was watching the news and its like...

    undescribable

  • @gelangielol i think he/she/it meant 8m

  • @Gavsta40 dunno i think they were talking about the dam/river or wateva..

they reported the next day it went up to 20.5 metre.... and now... its going down... havent read any news yet.

  • @JKalama25799752 80 metres? What the heck is going on..

  • @351XE Not epic.

  • unbelieveable I used to live just near there! thanks for posting

  • this is the real footage that i dont think the news have show over past 12-18 hours

  • Wow I feel sorry for these people that have lost there Kids

  • we are on a bloody mountain.

  • @TheHondakid97 Flash floods is water flowing down the side of a mountain at such speed that now on expects it, It can't still flood in some areas but thats why it was a wave effect.

  • @TheHondakid97 we are on a bloody volcano mountain*

  • Where are the crocodiles?

  • @shimokita2

138 miles away in Australia Zoo!

    vortexaus in Lockyer Valley, QLD

  • @shimokita2 sorry mate no crocs 1400feet ubove sea level . lol the crocs live in northen queensland

  • the water is rising so fast!....oh my god!

  • that just down the road from me i was watchin all this rapid water come down the hill, tearing up grammar junior entrance

  • Comment removed

  • yet we are STILL in water restrictions... watch every drop like all the LABOR party signs say... didn't labor party members go to school.. what goes up.. must come down!

  • @valcarni1 What goes up must come down? Did you go to school? Also how does that statement relate to water restrictions?

  • @woopedazz Obviously you never did physics... go back and pray on god to destroy the country some more. It is basic science... I suggest you stop being a god fearing redneck and get some fucking education you stupid labor supporter

  • @valcarni1 I don't get how you are turning this into Labor vs valcarni1. Irony would have been a better point as opposed to some sort of weird, sweeping anti-labor comment followed by a logical fallacy.

Can you explain the context of your comment "what goes up must come down" so I can discount it? At the moment nobody here has any idea what you are referring to. That statement is incorrect in every context, so it would be great if you could give me a reference point to debunk your stupidity.

  • i live in brisbane and i feel nervous just watching these vids, like something has gotta come our way soon.

  • we have lost our car in this flood

  • I thought Toowoomba was up a mountain????

  • @Riot454di yes and it's only hilly/mountainous places that get flash floods. That's also why it drained away so quickly.

  • its no laughing matter at least 4 dead then there's the towns down stream that got hit by this with no warning by a wall of water high as a house people are getting resuce from roof tops & unknown amount of missing people this is a tradegy unfolding that was never predicted

  • I am almost 100% sure i saw that ute get swept away in another video

  • Whoa that's rising fast....

  • That is unbelievable. I used to ride my bike there.

  • stoopid ass ute... duh.. that is deep.

  • Awesome

  • awesome

  • @Madsketchybakehouse how can you say awesome?

  • @NathieeXDOfficial

no other way to describe it but fuckin awesome

  • Good luck. Thoughts are with you

  • You guys a little bit wet hay ;)
