The longest ID we have is 10 seconds and its GAY! i'd rather the old ones, they were cool lol. we can only play what gets made tho. its all up to the 'big boss' man!
yeah true, also I think it comes down to air time too. What I mean by that is if networks spend less time advertising themselves (which is generating no revenue) and promote other ads, they make more money from it.
True, At WIN TAS we have alot of ads to get to air so we have less time to fill. also i think they are to lazy to make more, lol. some new ones will be out soon for summer tho, nice freash look.
Back in the late 90's WIN stopped airing it's ID between the 5:30pm show and the News. The reasoning was that if they went to an ad then, people may turn to a different channel. If it goes straight from the credits of sale of the century, or similar show to the News, people are less likely to get up.. leave the room or change the channel. I would think that is the reasoning for doing it today with most programmes.
Yep, this one just screams out late 80s & early 90s. Love it. Too bad those expensive fancy 3D idents came out of fashion and were replaced by clips of 3rd rate TV hosts like Tracy...
It was OBVIOUS to everyone, at the time, that the "rays" emanated out of Perth, right??! and ended in Sydney. That was obvious to you all too, right?! A true classic ident.
Exceptional quality. Thanks! :-)
