What kind of OFFENSE are you looking for? BASIC BJJ law says that you a) maintain good posture in someone's guard b) don't ATTACK in someone's guard. By my account, the guy in white tried for a kosoto geri sweep at the start, the guy in black pulled guard, the guy in black had a strong guard hence the reason white took nearly 4 minutes to escape the first time, White did escape got NS/side control, and eventually got caught in a toe hold. That gi thing may have slowed it down a tad too (grin)
He gripped inside my pant leg a couple of times... It made it hard for me to pull my leg away, but to his credit, I think he would have nailed the submission anyway. His weight overwhelmed my balance at the end.
