i think people should stop blaming and worrying about rubbers and blades. what a rip off. You guys all fall for it. A pre-made stiga is the exact same thing. I have both and i do prefer the custom but the stiga is fine considering it was 100 dollars less.

@JackIntheBK There are several factors that Table Tennis players consider when buying custom setups. Speed, spin, wood type, dwell time, control, etc. You don't get the same out of a Stiga Pre-made as you do with a custom Stiga setup like Stiga Clipper with Tenergy 05/64.

@rubixmaster85 and i don't get the same out of a stiga clipper with tenergy 05/64 as i do with an avalox 550 and pronte/sterco :) custom equipment is usually better for your game as long as you don't switch too often.. but imo tenergy is monstrously overrated!

@0301bjbo well, I don't think Oh is already playing Tenergy, neither does Boll. The Olympic Games of 2008 were one of the last big tournaments fresh-gluing was allowed.

You even can see Boll playing with his old blade "Boll-Spirit" instead of his after-fresh-gluing blade "Timo Boll ALC".

But I'm sorry, I cannot tell you what material Oh played with before speed-glue ban...

Very disappointing performance from Timo, on the world's biggest stage too. That's one of the worst matches I've seen him play and I hope he comes back strong. Someone needs to challenge the Chinese dominance to keep things interesting (I'm Chinese btw).

All that power turns into spin. You wouldn't believe how much topspin the ball has when one of them loops it... if you put a paddle in front of it without adjusting, the ball would indeed bounce off and fly across the stadium.
