Well, you can listen to the final sound in context on the MySpace page (link in description). Too optimistic for a Labour Party? That could be a valid point.
Holy s!!!!t! Finally someone doing a Moog video that doesn't featured geeked out wanker madness. I was beginning to think someone busts into your house and forcibly takes your Moog if you don't play lead scales on it exclusively.
...all joking aside - it really sounds great. I'm always amazed when someone can make something like a moog fit into a more contemporary indie rock context. Sound Team is one of the few of recent memory I can remember who do that...
Thanks, I appreciate it. I know what you mean -- there are a lot of keyboard wankerly demos out there; which I'm not into. For me, it is keeping it simple, and finding stuff that compliments the song. Please checkout the tunes on my band's myspace page listed in the description of this video. Thanks again!
No, this isn't duophonic. I was just looking for duophonic videos myself last week! What you hear here is each Osc tuned to each note in a triad (1st, 3rd, 5th). I have one patch for a major triad chord, and another for the minor, so I am switching between them.
Oh, I get it. My comment early was referencing the fact that thrcman has both the keyboard and RME version. I'd even like the hear a Voyager with a Little Phatty as a second voice.
Exactly what I'm aiming to do, once I get muster up the money for a RME. Nice to see some of these triad videos... exactly what I was looking for.. I'm interested in hearing some deep triad sounds, or different kind of triad sounds you can come up with on the Voyager. I have a LP, so on top of the duophony thats capable, I'd love to try some 5 note patches.. I'd also like to reiterate glimmertwin's comment.. it's not to see a non "keyboard wankerly" demo of the voyager on youtube.. haha
My version is a Cherry, could not tell from your film. Loved the Yellow lights. How is the Andromeda?
my setup is running the Voyager Keyboard through the Moog RME in mono (which sounds polyphonic fantastic) then through a MF Analog Delay, and the CV gates of the Moog Keyboard are connected to a MF CP 251. Versatility, sounds and looks are fantastic. Prophet runs by itself in stereo. Im thinking of customizing green Led light on the RME ;D
The Andromeda is just awesome. The Voyager compliments it quite nicely, as it provides the huge synth bass that the Andromeda lacks.
So, your Voyager keyboard's audio is routing into the RME? And then what, every patch is configured to have External Input turned on? Wouldn't a mixer be easier? That sounds like a great setup, though, I would love to have duophony with Moog gear. Maybe I will eventually....
Voyager keyboard and RME? So, tell me, the dual polyphony must be excellent, right? I use my Voyager with an Alesis Andromeda. This is the Ash version, which is my favorite. What type is yours?
Listened to your band on myspace. Very good stuff! I got a sort of Joy Division vibe.

Very tuneful, but it sounds a bit too optimistic for the Labour Party doesn't it !?

Are you getting the duophony in this video? I haven't seen anyone yet post a video with duophonic voyagers!
Mine is an Ash Lunar I got from novamusik for 2999 including the vx351!
THanks for the vid!
