  • omg I remember when I was little I wanted him as my pet! And have him live in my computer! still do. hahaha

  • This show is creepy. I Love It!!!!!

  • celtic is irish

  • this is the problem with disney Its missing DRAMA all there is comedy LAME COMEDY theres no more hard hitting stories DISNEY IS TURNING KIDS INTO IDIOTS its become like nickelodeon

  • This episode kills it. Scary, funny, whimsical... emotional and full of heart. Every kid should grow up watching a show like this.

  • For some reason, even when I was watching this as a kid, 3:53-3:58 always made me laugh.

  • "You don't know what you're dealing with, girl; you need me." I love how he slips into the dialect so perfectly.

  • ugh. this was creeeeeeepy DDXXXXX

  • @whatsername21287 Agreed. That could be one of the reasons why most families today with young kids are so messed up. They see that crap on the tube and think: "Oh hey! Those kids are my age and hate each other, that must be what brothers and sisters are suppose to be like!"

  • "remember it little duck because i'll be back!" ah classic.....

  • @01Highflyer as far as I can tell, he wanted to confound Fi, so she wouldn't find out what was really going on. Not that we know cause the bastards cancelled the show.

  • Been watching for hours. Finished with season one. I will start season two in the morning. I forgot how I much I loved this show. I loved watching it because I was Fi's age when it aired and I always wanted an older brother like Jack. They fought, but they also looked out for each other. You don't see that with the Disney shows or really any shows today.

Disney should totally put this show back the on air. With all the supernatural shows and movies out now this would be a perfect fit.

  • that ep was creepy...

  • I kinda liked the sprite

  • @Kyrakitten hes not a sprite hes a will o the wisp

  • I wish I could meet someone like Fi in real life.

  • @Shadowed9999 You got that right. At first, I thought it was an Irish accent. But then it started to sound Scottish. Patrick did an amazing job with his acting.

  • I could swear that there was a scene when she talked to her brother and told him that she chose him over talking to her dad ... but its not here, why ?

  • @01Highflyer In some stories, Will o' the Wisps did something. Heaven wouldn't take them in, because they're evil and the devil wouldn't taken them in out of revenge or something. So now they are stuck wandering the Earth, looking for their next victim.

  • I think the concept of the machine guessing the name was that for some reason that Will O' The Wisp stopped the letters, when they just rolled on on the computer?

  • why dnt he freeze the computer too haha

  • The actress who plays Fi is so dramatic, I'm not sure how much I like her or the show but I keep watching it so it must be good.

  • I feel like Fi cries in every episode.

  • They were suppose to make one in Season 3, where Bricriu comes and possesses Fi, and an exorcism is performed, but Disney wouldnt allow it! Instead, they changed it to where he jumps into her computer!

  • This episode is great!

  • Bricriu? Dude! I dont get how that machine figured that out!

  • Dude! What the fuck? What retards gave me 3 thumbs down for asking a question!

  • Well, according to online sources, BRICRIU is the name of an Irish mythology poet.

So it's possible that if the game had a function to "rule out" certain words and hiints, it could come up with a possible answer.

So it's possible that Fi might have input "Irish Mythology" or something of that sort and the only 7 letter name it could come up with was the name of this Irish poet.

Also, you probably got a thumbs down because "it's just a show" I don't know. that's my guess anyway

  • she probably just had to put in the right input and let the machine run through. Jack designed it so it would look through the internet to find the right answer. 7 letter name for a celtic trickster Answer: BRICRUI

  • This episode gave me nighmares when I was younger xD Yet I still watched them....xD

  • So Weird was onto something with Will O the Wisp and the spirit world not liking Fi finding out about them. Everytime Will O the Wisp came I knew it was going to be a good story.

  • Ya! It all makes sense in "Lightning Rod"

  • Is he allowed to even make false promises? Oh yeah he is right?

  • No he cant make false promises. Its a basic rule when dealing with spirit beings. Especailly celtic beings, but you have to bind them in a contract of some sort, they have to hold to it if they lose but theyre sneaky about winning

Patrick Levis seemed to really sink his teeth into the Bricrui role really fun. I bet the first thing Rick would say was "why did you sacrafice your brother to him" and be kinda mad about losing his son

  • I know right! He definitely played that well, silly parts, and devious parts.

  • i love the music in the background at 4:11. It always reminds me of her spilling orange soda on her shoes and the wet doorknob in the first episode.

  • Do you think he would have let her really speak to her father?

  • He said, "twixt!" xD

  • Bricriu :z

  • the game found his name by each time one of the letters was right it would stop its a mystical thing is what it is

  • Something I've always wondered, but how did the machine know what his name was?

  • it cycled through all the possible names that could fit into 7 letters

  • When a correct letter was guessed the bargain locked it into place.

  • well then I missed it too then lol.

  • Why does he keep calling her "Little Duck"? Did I miss a reference or inside joke???

  • This episode is so dark, it's definitely on of my favorites.

Also, can I give props to Jack for his outstanding acting in this episode? He really was great.

  • Totally given. He was great. I loved this episode! I wanna see the will o the wisp return.

  • Comment removed

  • the episodes where the will 'o' the wisp returns are called "DESTINY" & "LIGHTING ROD"

  • hey wheres episode 14 for season 1?

  • this is the last episode for season 1..

  • oh thanks :)

  • what episode does jack say "i think about him too you know"

  • president president president thats all they talk about

  • I have NO CLUE why, but this ep always creeps me out hxc. Like, more than any other. Always seemed kinda weird to me, haha.

  • OK, so how the hell did the computer know to stop when it came across those specific letters?

  • The will'o'whisp made her computer screen appear in thin air-since it was part of his magic the computer has a connection-and often magic and electricity have wierd outputs and inputs that contradict each other.

  • um... okay

  • omg, I laughed forever when I saw your reply to the person above you.

  • that's why electric items don't work at hogwarts!

  • I was wondering that too, but I think 'cause it's a hangman program, maybe it already knew the answer?

Who knows, the whole show is about paranormal events...could very well be that the magic/electricity thing is how the computer knows where to stop.

Or maybe Bricriu was (probably unintentionally) willing it to stop due to the magic of the bargain?

I think it's one of those things that you just have to accept with the weirdness of the event itself. -shrug-

  • Fi said they all counted as guesses, so maybe when the computer generated it, it counted as the right guess and had to stop.

    But I'm with you--it's a Disney show :)

  • YEAH. That's kinda what I meant when I said the computer already knew. o_x; I think.

Or maybe it's something I always figured, but had a brain fart while watching this time and couldn't think of how to explain it while commenting. (I think this is most likely.)

Or I'm just making stuff up in my head and trying to steal some of the credit for your brilliant reasoning. XD

I have always been terrible at trying to explain myself, though. x_x

Anyhoo. You are most definitely correct.

    /shutting up.

  • Haha, after you think about it too long your head starts to hurt... and I think it was a joint brilliant idea; let's both take credit :)

  • Yeah it does. XD

And I can go with that!

  • Ya I'm going with this one too

  • Some people think it was Rick (Fi's dad).

  • Ok, no doubt about it. This is my favorite episode.

  • her computer is like psychic or something.

  • I think it's either that or her father helping her:)

  • this is the episode that got me into this crap =] I freaking love possession and this was a good begining to my journey of weirness, I was anywhere between the ages of 5-9 when I first saw this episode and it's been my favorite ever since.

  • Bricriu will be back!!!

  • yep trust me i know...in season two!

  • WOW! THAT WAS...

AMAZING! if i had seen it i dont remember it.

  • he is such a good actor

  • this is actually episode 13 Lost is episode 12 so you people dont get confused was probably just a typo on SoWeirdTv's part...........I'M EXITED TO HAVE THESE AT MY FINGERTIPS!!

  • BRICRIU!!!

  • hahmm.

    little duck.

  • This is one of the 3 epsidoes I taped when they were on. I feel so happy that I got at least SOME episodes. Too bad I cut the commercials out of this one, though! Still cool to have...

  • That was freakin' awsome! XD Really funny too.

I can't wait to see the episode where Bricriu possesses Molly :3

  • This one is hilarious!!! i love this one!!

  • Spooky ending! Loved it!
