Since they chose the title they did, they of course bring on the debate about it. As for myself, I think they are only using the phrase in the same way so many other people use it...a handy catch phrase to say that the singer has no idea why he loves another in that song. It no more means belief in god than when Einstein made his references to god and god's not playing dice.

That's definitely Carl singing lead vocal and playing acoustic guitar; Bruce Johnston is playing bass in place of Brian who does not appear at all in this video. Al Jardine is on electric guitar, Dennis Wilson on drums and Mike Love on backup vocals although none of them either played or sang on the original track they are lip-syncing to. It is Carl singing lead with Bruce and Brian only singing harmony on the record; the instruments were all played by prominent studio musicians. FACT>
