Does anyone know why all these Duran Duran Coachella videos have the non-Coachella footage inserts? I find it quite distracting when all I want to do is listen to and watch the live song.

A year or two ago.. John Taylor said that he would still be involved with Duran Duran in the studio making albums, but would no longer be touring. I wonder what changed his mind? Frankly, Duran Duran IS Simon LeBon. He could go solo if he wanted to. Nick Rhodes is very important with his song writing / composing, but even Nick is replaceable. I hope John has gotten over his love affair with Obama and will not repeat his sickening endorsements of Obama in 2012. No artist should get political

@AxeNewkill thanks for your comment but i don't with you at all , anybody can have a political opinion and artist can be the voice of lots of people , like Bono or angelina jolie , you can agree or disagree but who we are to say to an artist shut up and sing , we are not dictators and this is a free country last time i checked

@RocioDD If you think this is a free country, you must be very young and naive. The "free country" image was propaganda to fight the cold war. The US happens to be one of the most repressive countries in the world.

@RocioDD Well, frankly, the USA is so far in debt now that it is impossible to get out of it. A country in deep, unsurmountable debt cannot be free because it has to answer to it's debtors and do things like tolerate massive human rights abuses in asia.

@Stldetrl its a free country in the sense that we can post our opinions online, like now, and discuss any issue we like without fear of being taken away or tortured by the authorities. so, to some extent, we live in a free country. In saying that, mechanisms of social control like the media and the authorities are absolutley necessary to maintain order in the western countries otherwise we could be in the dark ages of Iran or Iraq and such like.

@gregingram1970 Ironically, the least free countries are those controlled by religious doctrine such as with Islam. Religion always has been the worst form of government. Religion is basically like telling small children to behave, not because it is right, but because if they don't, Santa Claus won't give them presents. And.. Santa is always watching them! Supernatural beliefs have no part in an effective government. Religion is good to govern one's OWN life but not to control other's lives.

@Stldetrl Supernatural beliefs are what controlled western civilisations before modernity and the enlightenment period? Thanks to Scotland, we moved to modernity.

I agree religion has been used very very badly by some non western countries but i was commenting on how free the west is. I hope most people have the view that having social control is essential to keep a tab on the risky behaviours of some groups which are threats to our safety. We need them. On here, we can say as we like

@AxeNewkill Any Obama is better than those Republican clowns. I can't think of a single reason why a person in their right mind would want to endorse them. However, I agree to the point where I think it's odd for a Briton to go as far as making a commercial for either side. It's just that the world can't afford another Republican US Government (full of idiots like the last one). There's just too much at stake. You are not alone on this planet, you know. And you certainly don't own it.

@HoraceScope Both democrats and republicans suck. And frankly, a president is pretty much a figurehead. Congress is the group having the biggest affect on the country. I'll say one thing for Obama. Nobody can accuse him of showing favoritism to black people. He has done virtually NOTHING to benefit black people.

great experience, wonderful voice...this is that one say to singer by a big musicien!the voice is strong limpty again the same since a lot of years! simon also loosed some kilos and so his music performance get better ..I hope they won't stop play music..English music is too good!

This is far and away my favorite Duran Duran song!!! They sound amazing!!!! Not bad for a band that people said would never make it out of the 80's huh! Their new CD is one of the best CD's I've heard in years!!
