  • Cool..........if I know my LP's your model had the 490r 498t pups. My Sg had those and I could not get into them. I dropped in 57' Classics and presto, custom shop tone. Well, almost.....LOL. I want to swap the 57's out of my LP traditional and drop in the BB pros. I really dig that crystal spike they have due to the alnico V mags. You have a great tone man, Keep rockin.......................

  • @4937645 Yep you were right on the 490r 498t pickups. They were just too muddy for me. I like 57's as well - I have them stock in my ES335, but for the Les Paul, BB's are the way to go IMHO.

  • @EJwannabe hey man, have you ever played the LP faded cherry?? It had BB pros. I liked it, but it just felt to corky. Stripped as you can get. Great guitar for the doe. Studios are great. Nice and heavy. The new chambered bodys I question. The faded, and the standard are chambered. What's a LP if it doesn't weigh a ton?? The chambered LPs still sound great. But I"ll stick with my traditional. She's a tank. 335? GREAT GUITAR. What do you think of the 339?? Happy Rockin Holidays.......

  • Great song man, but I couldn't hear your lead playing..............

  • @4937645 The camera recording is not getting the lead playing because they are on the other side of the room. If you listen on headphones, you will hear it better though.

  • @4937645 Thanks for listening BTW!
