  • Oh, okay. LOL

  • Does anyone still use back up singers? Listen to how full this song sounds compared to songs of today. The strings, guitar, bass, drums, piano.....I could go on & on!!!! :-)

  • One of the great B-side songs by Luther!

  • Luther was sent by god.why else could someone have a voice like that. From krvr 12/07/56

  • I still miss him! Gosh, I keep his CD in my car because I love him so much! I will be dead before they have another silky soulful voice that can touch your soul. I told my daughter she was blessed to have and hear Luther. Luther's voice will be heard 20-30-40 years from now, and will still be recognized as GREAT! I miss you Luther.....everyday!

  • SAAang bwoy!!Lootah is da man!!

  • I think Burns & Fred Falke aimed to introduce this to the youngsters of today. They didn't try and make their own song from it, they just made a modern dance mix. I doubt they'd get any royalties. This is beautiful.

  • Ill never stop loving you Luther because your the one i turn to when im feelin sad and you help me out, thanks for being there, R.I.P

  • THIS SONG HITS ME WHERE IT SURE HURT WHEN THIS WAS THE CASE FOR ME.

  • Wish I could say that I heard this song back when it came out, but really, I had just heard this song a few years ago. When I did, I fell in love with it. Luther made some of the greatest music, whether they were ballads (which he is best known for) or uptempo songs like this. This is a incredible song:)

  • My parents used to spin quite a bit and I didn't understand what romance was, but I knew it was a "sad" song and a "break up song" LOL.

  • WHUR CLASSIC..96.3 WASHINGTON DC..rip Luther (my husband lol) and Melvin Lindsey

  • Listen to Cissy in the background. Man, Luther knew how to pick 'em. His music is TIMELESS!

  • @76grandprix Yes, Cissy sung on multiple Luther songs. However, that's Tawatha Agee of Mtume singing the soprano on this record. They both have similar voices. I sometimes get confused as well, lol!

  • great man

  • House Version: Burns & Fred Falke - YSLM (You Stopped Loving Me) (2010)

  • @TheFate23 The Treasure Fingers Remix of YSLM is it just Luther's version sped up?

  • @imyournaughtyboy Nah, the vocals are sped up though.

  • Excelent remix of this song.

    watch?v=ojOpYkRN7_E

  • @rigotes Exactly the one i was looking for. It's so easy to find songs with lyrics these days :) Thank you!

  • Roberta Flack's version is better!

  • @BigBlueBeast NEVER!

  • I never understood why this song was so underrated, and I don't know why. It is one of his best.

  • Thought about this song today at work. Haven't heard it in years!

  • He pruduced this for 1 of hi idols Roberta Flack and it was in the Cicely Tyson Richard Pryor surprisingly touching film of where they mentor delinquients Bustin Loose 1 of the 3 reoccuring songs in the film, the other 2 being Just when I needed you, also sung by flack and supposedly singing the sentiments of Ms. Tyson. The 3rd a choir of kids God bless you and me.

  • Miss you Luther xxx

  • The greatest male singer of our generation - not even close

  • Have to agree with cheDJj.....R.I.P to a great artist
