just want to say this doesnt work, i tried 10 times and everytime i was detected, this guy must be moding or something to be hidden, because i kept on moving and everytime i was in view to take a shot i was being watched. Also, if you do this just wait a sec and another dark brotherhood memeber comes and he will distract the guards while you escape.
It all depends on what you think is worth it. In the end, I find Skyrim more engaging and action filled. Oblivion was fun for it's time, but in my opinion I think Skyrim is better. I respect your opinion, but you must also respect the opinions of others who agree with me. Calling someone an idiot because they think differently than you proves you need to insult someone just to debate. No intelligence there whatsoever. Now can we all shut up and enjoy the game and YouTube videos? :D
I disagree with there being pointless perks. Half of the time you are not able to get fully matching sets of armor unless you are absolutely lucky or enjoy waiting forever for the merchants to give you what you want. Not to mention half of those items usually have an enchantment that, if you're like me, you'll want to rip from it. That and last I checked, there ate no merchants that sell Daedric armor, and they sure as hell don't sell the elite Dragonscale/plate armor.
@richiehernandez59 It's not about the "laggy", it's about the "sucky", they totally fucked the leveling system, it feels like "any old generic rpg" now... It's great for a generic RPG, don't get me wrong, but it's not of TES quality.
@Darthsikk what are you on about? in the other tes, you cant switch to something new without starting a new game. i know u can obviously just start using new equipment or armor, but u ofcourse wont level up... but still, i reapect ur opinion.
@CRYOmine "What are you on about"? In from in Morrowind and Oblivion you can level EVERY SINGLE SKILL to max if you want to invest the time and have a truly multifacited character... Something you cannot do in Skyrim. Why in gods name would you waste a single precious "perk point" on "smithing"? You can find all that shit out in the world, hence... "worthless talent"... only made "worthless" by their idiotic change to the leveling system.
@Darthsikk But I think you miss my point, in Skyrim you can choose any skill to level up but the ones you are good at go up faster, and even more so when using stones. How ever in Oblivion and Morrowind, only your major skills level up; so you can't be someone different all in one game as well as you can in Skyrim. I think Skyrim is a genious game - that's why it got good ratings.
@CRYOmine What you're saying makes no bloody sense whatsoever. I say "You can level up every and have the best of all skills, if you level heavy armor to 100 you don't have to put a perk into it, you just get what's coming to you for investing the time", and you say "No way, I think being limited by some stupid perk system that negates the entire idea of "custom class awesomeness makes the game better and more in depth"? Lad I think you need to look at what you're saying.
@CRYOmine Don't get snippy with me mate, you're the one that saw fit to initiate all this because you had to make your opinion known. If you're happy with some dumbed system that renders more than half of the skill trees obsolete and prevents truly broad spectrum characters then hats off to you, you are one of the simpleton 96% sitting right in the middle of the "I'm dull and complacent" mass. Don't challenge someone who appreciates the depth of something you can't and get pissy afterwards.
@CRYOmine Beyond that my friend, looking back at this post, you said "only your major skills level up", you're obviously one of those people that claims they played the other games and didn't, not really. All of your skills leveled up, if you used them, only your core skills leveling caused YOU to level. A tedious system that when used right gave birth to incredibly powerful and personally tailored god like characters. You'd know this had you really played the game at all.
@CRYOmine Right, well, what exactly is it you consider "leveling YOU up"? Because you had to increase skills associated with a trait what, 10 or 15 times to get the proper +5 modifier? Which means those secondary skills were really just as important to "leveling you up" as your major skills? In fact, if you only focused on your major skills you got a lot of +1's and +3's... Should be +5's every time right? Skyrim did right in speeding that up, it screwed up everything else.
@Darthsikk How could you not know what levelling up is? In Oblivon you have to increase 10 skills to get a level up. You start at level 1 and go on from there..... Pretty basic mate.
@CRYOmine lol No, it isn't. You had to level up any skill linked to a stat, like strength for instance, 10 times, that gave strength a +5 modifier when you actually leveled, same for intelligence, same for dex, and so on. It was an incredibly complex and tedious system. I leveled 4 characters to max with +5's to the key skills. So, as I've already stated, you obviously don't know shit about the game, and are just enjoying shooting your mouth off. It's no wonder you enjoy Skyrim so much.
@CRYOmine Correction: it's what people who don't want to think would like leveling to be. I'm honestly not insulting you with that line, just stating that you're obviously not one of us pedantic elite who so enjoy number crunching and long term investments in a fully enriched character. Again, it's no wonder you like Skyrim, and it's people like you who are raving about it. People like me, who really did love the other TES games, are saddened by Skyrims deluded and simplified formula.
@Darthsikk Got the Oblivion "im a god " t-shirt it got boring very quickly & not rewarding as it was no challenge & grinding to get there was a chore.New leveling system better as you have to make choices & you will have weak spots ( that's character buildlng btw) & is only one part of the a large game.If you're that bothered run around a lot & when you feel you've done enough use the console. That said i miss the quirky stuff like spell creating & been able to fall from great heights.
@NorfolkTears "Character building" is any process that allows for "directed development". It is not something that is "created equal". And I can tell from the composition of your commentary that you did not, in fact reach that pinnacle, as if you had you would know that the game at max difficulty REQUIRED you have invested that much time in the meticulous creation of your character. Don't get on here and condescend to me with your idiotic "opinion" as if it's going to settle anything.
@Darthsikk Don't agree.Oblivion was easy to max out your characters just boring to do so,the grind was not worth the pay off. The journey & enjoying the work gone into creating the game is the fun part. Having all your basic attributes maxed out glowing from all the Daedric bling your carrying looks fancy but not challenging which leads to running around in your knickers with a dagger taking on Daedra for amusement. Oh & "pot calling the kettle black " fits your posts perfectly.
@NorfolkTears I never said it was "hard", the grind was certainly worth the pay off, as well, you can't make it through an oblivion gate in your "knickers" under any circumstances with any stats with the games difficulty maxed out. As for your "pot and kettle" comment, you like so many other children on here seem to not even understand the language you speak. That idiom has no place here, as I have not displayed any of the qualities I've taken issue with in people such as yourself.
@NorfolkTears Furthermore, you can certainly enjoy the "last word" here, as I'm out of the "bored" area of my pre-thanksgiving lull and have far more pressing matters to attend to than engaging in hollow exchanges with dipshits like you and your buddy CRYOmine. You're a liar, nothing you've said regarding Oblivion is correct aside from your inference that the grind was too long. However, there was a fruit to be had from engaging in it. Skyrim's "perk system" renders half the trees as useless.
@Darthsikk Thank you so much , you gave me a good hearty laugh. Its a very nice way to the start the day. I hope someone can pass on that joy to you one day.
@NorfolkTears I offer you the last word and that's what you go out on? I'm sure your parents are very proud of the finger painting mural your special ed teacher helped you make on the side of your helmet. Try not to choke on your turkey at thanksgiving little guy, the mental health community is pulling for you!
@Dante2001 That's not a valid argument, it's an exploit, you don't have to use it, you have to go out of your way to get it, no different than any other "cheat". If you've got Skyrim on the PC you can just open a console line and turn on god mode, that only "breaks" the game if you didn't want to be invincible... Which, if that was the case, why did you do it? Chameleon cloaking is no different.
