Many US fighters came to Britain and they got KO'd Ali had to cheat to beat Cooper all the US fighters got beat by Naseem, Gerald M got hospitalised by Benn, Eubank wiped out US guys and Honeygan did. After their top boys got pimp slapped they stopped coming over, now it's come to USA all the time lol.
greatest showman since Ali? I don't remember Ali ever being a "showman" like this. He definitely had style and knew how to pump up a fight, but there is no contest in who was the greatest showman in boxing history. No one could ever do or probably will ever do what Hamed did. Sad his career is defined by his one loss. The guy was a master, a legend. One fight he didn't prepare for, Barrera is so overrated. Why isn't Barrera's career defined by his embarrasing loss to Pacquiao? Lame.
@Haplotype0 ''his career defined by his one loss'' ? that's not really correct. many ppl just started show disrespect to him cuz he never came back to the ring after his 37th bout...so ? who cares ? his life his way,as for me I don't mind what he does atm I mind with my own life and I enjoy Naseem's legacy..
@FameKillusion I don't define Hamed by his one loss. That should be evident from my calling him a master and a legend. In my opinion Barrera gets too much credit for beating him when he really beat himself. However, I argue with people every day who define him by the barrera fight calling him a fraud and barerra a legend.I disagree. Hamed beat undefeated guys, champions, stopped guys who have never been or havent been stopped in years. I like your channel thanks for posting these great fights.
@Haplotype0 I know You don't define him and I didn't say You defined him. what I said is ppl define him cuz he never came back to the ring after the 37th bout and they don't even know what was Hamed's reason to not coming back... ofc U R right about Hamed he stopped undefeated guys and some of them simply gave up the fight. I just laugh when ppl say Naseem is just a piece of showman if so how come he got 3 Worldtitles WBO-IBF-WBC..that's just paradox .)
@Haplotype0 if someone tries to copy hamed.. this is what happens.. check outt this naz replica lol uzzy boxer into youtube.. plz check it and let me know what u think
@adnansaami I've seen that video and it is hillarious. I agree, no one before or since could do this kind of thing. He makes it look so easy, people don't realize he's doing the impossible. That uzzy thing is funny, but they used clips from two different fights. Watch the gloves change colors from the ring walk to the knockout.
@Haplotype0 yeah what you say is so true.. hamed was unique in what he did,,, and uzzy.. oh my days.. he gave me jokes on that vid.. i watched his full fight yesterday (the one where he came in dancing,,, but he boxd with heart for 12 rounds..so i respect him for that haha)....
@Haplotype0 Barrera was ducking Hamed for 5 years. If Hamed didn't have hand problems in the end he would have knocked out Barrera.Hamed is the greatest featherweight of all time.
@jason60152 Barerra fought the perfect fight, Hamed was complacent against Barerra, his heart never recovered from that loss, such a shame for boxing fans.
@Jairzinho121 Barrera didn't fight the perfect fight.Hamed wasn't even hurt in the fight.Hamed recovered from his loss with a win. What r u talking about?
@jason60152 recovered from his loss with a win? lol, a points victory against calvo? He was a shell in that fight, his heart was gone. Anybody who knows boxing knows that the barerra loss took something away from Naz that he never recovered from. That is the shame, because if he could take that loss on the chin and carried on, Im sure he would've been successful, look at Morales now, hamed was better than him. The fact is after the barerra fight at the age of 28 Naz gave up.
@jason60152 yes i do, Ingle knew him well, and the advice he got in the corner at the Barerra fight was pathetic. Steward just kept saying land ur bombs, Ingle would never have done that, he wouldve said wait for the opportunity to throw the bombs. He was just too predictable against Barerra and looked slow and sluggish compared to other fights. It just annoys me so much because I was one of his biggest fans, and I know he couldve beaten Barerra. His fault for firing Ingle.
@jason60152 The Calvo fight does not count, that was not Naz in the ring it was a shadow of Naz. What point are you trying to make? Naz did give up after the Barerra/Calvo fights, at the age of 28 in his peak. He should've carried on for a better legacy. Do you agree that Naz gave up his career prematurely?
Barerra did outbox Naz that night, Naz was just looking for the big shot and got schooled. If he boxed properly like he did against Robinson Im sure he wouldve beat Barerra.
@jason60152 I agree but Ali shouldve given up way earlier, not fighting against Holmes etc, and Naz gave up way too early. Naz definitely had 4 more years of top class boxing in him, and he never got hit the way Ali did who was a heavyweight. Most grown men would not be alive after taking the clean punches of George Foreman, Ken Norton, Joe Frazier etc.
Commentator is comically biased...
