  • Mrs.Bates thats the wrong window! lol

  • Mrs. Bates sounds like Gammy Numnums from Master Of Disguise. Hilarious lol. but this was still fun to watch.

  • Mother is in the wrong window.

  • "NORMAN! WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT WILLS?!?!"

  • The House in California was moved, it was originally located where the Jaws area is, the house in California had an interior, they used it a couple of times for contests like Elvira's halloween party, the one in florida was a shell more or less,

  • let's clear things up, the psycho house in florida was used in the fourth, but I think only at the last part when it burned for there used to be burn marks at the windows when I went down there in 93, as for all others they were in califonia. If I am wrong plaese speak up and provide evidence. whew!

  • ill take out your will if you don't bring me my dinner! ha same old norman, the problom was that he was more nicer, not meaner,or someone running with an knife saying my roflol knife goes slice, slice, skice, slice, slice, slice, loloolololoooool

  • "She might have fooled me, but she didn't fool my mother."

  • The house in Florida was used for the filming of Psycho 4 the begining!

It's true it was torn down fora kids play area.. Lame!

So come to Uinversal in California and see the film house used in Psycho 2,3 and the tv movie bates motel!

  • part 1 too!! but it was moved from the jaws location

  • It is amazing how well they replicated that house for the Florida location though.

  • it was cool when my brother 1990 was a lil kid they called him the actual actor and they showed him how they do the kills the blood the smoke everything

  • so how come they had a psycho house in florida

which movie was it used in

  • why did they tare it down and whats there now

  • its now woody the woodpeckers play area

  • . . .What a terrible idea. . .

  • i agree

  • The Psycho House in Florida was torn down ten years ago...

The Psycho House in Hollywood is still standing...

  • what do you mean it was torn down? its still standing

  • the REAL psycho house in florida was torn down 10 years ago

a REPLICA is in hollywood and you can see it on the tour.

  • but the replica in hollywood on the tour IS the ACTUAL psycho house fro mthe first one??

  • actually, i just went there in august, and there was no house!!!!! just the motel, i was pissed, i almost screamed! and no, the psycho house that WAS in hollywood WAS a replica, i just went and there was no house :[

  • I saw your 2nd comment EA, what makes you think that? I worked with some of the crew that worked on the last 2 movies. The one in Hollywood is the REAL one, which is ironic as really not much in Hollywood is real.

  • You have that backwards EATrainbows. The actual Psycho house that was used for the movie serious was and still is located at Universal Studios Hollywood. The one that was in Orlando was a replica

  • but i went on the tour in august and there was only the motel

  • The tram may have been diverted on its path that didn't take you past the house, but I can assure you that the real Psycho house at Universal Hollywood is the same one from back in the 60's. It has been moved on the lot, but it is the same classic original house and it hasn't been touched since Psycho 2 was filmed. I was just at the house on the lot earlier this month. And I've been inside of it and upstairs. Creepy, but very dirty and simple.

  • You went upstairs in the house??!!! I thought it was an empty shell?

  • It is an empty shell, but there is a staircase inside on the eastern wall that goes up to one single room where the rocking chair and grandma reside for the spooky image in the window for the tour.

  • @loonercrazy Yeah, I read that the Hollywood one is the original, though at first only the front and left side were built (for the first film). When it was used for the sequels the other walls were added.

I saw the florida one in 1997 I think. It was on a hill next to a seating area, not far from the ET ride. It's lame that they destroyed it to make space for a play area. Why not move it elsewhere or donate it to a museum?
