  • ...based on the teachings at school, if its an acute sprain you do NOT touch the area that is inflammed, you use Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Touching it like that when its still inflammed doesn't take it down, if anything its painful and makes it worse.

  • @Snoozbear Yea the person didn't touch the swollen area until 2 weeks later when it went down a little for me. She manipulated around the swell and did something like that in this video after it went down. It hurt like crazy that I didn't want to continue but it definitely helped in the recovery.

  • My ankle is still swelling after i sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago, but it doesn't hurt. I hope this would help.

  • the same thing happened to me. i sprained it three weeks ago and it no longer hurt but it was really ugly and swollen. but then yesterday i hurt it again.
