  • Υπέροχη φωνή, πραγματιή χριά αγγέλου...Σερβία, Ρωσία, Ελλάς Ορθόδοξα ΑΔΕΡΦΙΑ...!!

  • wonderful voice!!

  • We Evangelicals have thrown out The Baby with the bath water, and are too proud to admit it and have no leaders bold enough to admit it and lead us back. The Kyrie is one of the most ancient hymns we Christians have. It has nada to do with Rome. This is one rendition, there are others. Shame on us sheeple for being so blindly lead. Kyrie Eleison!

  • σούπερ τραγούδι

    Divna Ljubojević

  • I am agnostic, but I live in an Orthodox country (Romania) and I really love some Byzantine music pieces, like this!

    Take a look here:

/watch?v=1HwpV6uto9Y (from 01:50 ). Is the Romanian Holy Liturgy from a movie made in the 70's. Pretty good!

This song, Kirie Eleison, brings to me (I don't know why) the image of the Constantinopole falling in 1453, with the monks locked inside the monasteries for the last prayer and the last Byzantine Emperor dying heroically on the walls. Poetical tragedy!

  • @Mar1vs

By creation and the good and the beauty we know Who is the Creator, the plenty of Goodness and Beauty!

God bless you, and I suggest you to visit Orthodox Churches brother, I live in Brazil with few Orthodox Churches, I need go like 400 kilometers to visit one, maybe you have one at the side of your home, don't abandomn this !

    Christ is among us! =)

  • Σοι μόνο ήμαρτον αλλά και σοι μόνο λατρεύομεν........

    Κύριε Ιησού Χριστέ ελέησον με.

  • This is the real Kirie eleison that should be! Not the idiots that remake them into pop and other music ...

    God bless us all!

Oh, and sorry for my name...

  • Kakav je antihrist dislike.....-.- Boze pravde zbog pravde bice borbe! CCCC orthodox!!

  • Dislikes?

  • This Orthodox-Byzantine chant is magnificent. Divna Ljubojevic is great and her voice is like the voice of an angel!

  • I am still in the side of the Miracle of the Holy Fire, which have more credits! :P

  • As I always says: If Saint Peter is the head of church, not Christ, so, Antioch is the head of Church

It is obviously that don't make sense the papacy, CHRIST IS THE HEAD OF CHURCH!

Orthodox Brothers, let's wake up to moderns and papists heresies, let us fight for the true church, for Christ!

Christ is Risen, Hristos Anesti, Kristos Voskrese, Al Massih Kam!

  • @Loiginer We do not need to fight, everyone who has true faith will find his way to The One Holy Apostolic Church. It is enough to go to any Orthodox Church Liturgy and experience Divine. I can go to any Orthodox church and participate in prayer regardless of language spoken and I always feel special.

  • @TheThedragonwarrior: ATTENTION!!

I was speaking about Holy Tradition - and Holy Tradition can not change! ( I think I have explained enough not)

There are not different kinds of Masses .....thats a catholic creation.....

  • Comment removed

  • @TheThedragonwarrior: St. Augustine is an orthodox Saint like all Holy Fathers!

When St. Augustine is a doctor of your church - why u do not keep his commandments? Go and read his writings and look if he agrees with your statements!

I tell u: St. Augustine was a great defender of Holy Tradition! (so he is not with u)

  • @TheThedragonwarrior: Really not through the correct confession! Interesting - confession alone.

An orhtodox christian can be saved but heretics can not be saved even when they are like Saints. As we know from the lives of the Saints.

So I think the guy who is without knowledge in chrstianity is u!

  • Comment removed

  • @TheThedragonwarrior: It is not hatred but for u it sounds like hatred because u are brainwashed with: let us love each other, we are all the same, we are all one, God is full of mercy he will save us all.......etc..

That is the religion of the Anti christ!

The Saints who truly loved God and humans - are very strict when talking about faith! They do not say peace...etc..

Can u remember what Christ said: When they say peace peace....

  • Comment removed

  • @TheThedragonwarrior: Wrong my friend - u absolutly don't know what Holy Tradition means (in scripture it is called PARADOSIS). This Holy Tradition is apostolic, directly from God and can not change with time or place. It it the revelation of God - Holy Scripture is a part of the that Holy Tradition.

What u are talking about is custom - human made Tradition - of course this Tradition can differ. The serbians for example celebrate Slava - the russians not - that is a custom.

  • do all orthodow priests have such bierds? :)

  • @vrsnsmvAB No, many do because it is a sign for wisdom.

  • @vrsnsmvAB They actually all do. It is a tradition, they are free not to have a beard but i never saw anyone without a beard

  • @kakas10000 I did. once. so that is why i said no.

  • @ThaTruthSpeaker As i said they are allowed not have a beard..but is extremely unusual..Its like the pictures in the churches..There is no rule it says that the pictures of Jesus should have a beard but almost all do though there are pictures depicting Jesus without a beard...

  • @kakas10000 Indeed.

  • They are busy praying all the time, that's why.

  • It's hard to live the Christian life, when you stand up for Christ; nasty fear feelings may interfere with your bravery. Don't let it get to you, for it is the Devil who is trying to stop you. Don't listen to that feeling or thoughts, the Devil has no place for you, but God does.

  • The roman Catholic Church is the TRUE church, may orthdoxy return.

  • Roman Catholics made changes to the True Catholic and Apostolic church, which is Orthodoxy. Orthodoxy never changed, it is the same, just as God him self never changed.

  • @d789b Tell me the "changes: the Roman Catholics made in the church

  • The Catholic Church believes Angels have genders; also when we are born, we have the sin of Adam, and Catholics believe the holy spirit proceeds through the Father and the Son. How can Angels have genders when they were created before our very earth existed? I wouldn't mind getting deeper, but you should check out the Orthodox Study Bible; everything you would want to know and hear is within that book.

  • @d789b The Catholic church teaches that angels have no gender. The bible says, that " in Adam all die" (1 Cor. 15:22) Also, the Holy Sprit does proceed from the father and the son.

The Father is begotten of none, the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son.

  • Orthodoxy was not origininated by people, but through Christ to the Apostles; that's where Orthodoxy began. We believe Christ has his own church, and that's why we stick with Orthodoxy; because we believe that's Christs one church. If you have seen the passion of Christ, it is known that Christ said, let your will be done, not mine. That proves works are being done through the Father, and the Father only.

  • @d789b The Roman Catholic Church is the one true church. You say the holy spirit does not proceed with the father and the son but we see from the early church fathers that the spirit does.

  • I wish you were right...

  • @d789b what do you mean you wish i was right?

  • Have you not herd about one of the Miracles in Chicago? The weeping icon enshrined at St. George Antiocian Orthodox Church, Chicago Illinois. The all Holy Theotokos Icon started having tears of Holy oil. Millions of people from acoss America came to see it. And a man who took 125 pictures; and not a single one showed tears. And that one last picture, he believed, he had faith! The tears showed! And there are many, maaaaany more miracles besides this one. What I told you was just one of the many.

  • @d789b dont you know the bible says satan can produce signs and wonders as well. There are man miracles in the catholic church and if i told you about them i bet you wouldnt belive them even though they ARE MIRACLES but if they were miracles from your church you would believe them.

  • Which bible are you reading? The American Standard bible? If so, it doesn't have all the truth together. The Holy Orthodox Study Bible has all of the missing pieces to the True Faith together.

  • What I told you was not a man miracle, God purposely didn't let the tears show on the camera; only because he didn't believe, have faith. This was a miracle by God.

  • @d789b OK, so tell me this, if this miracle happened in the Roman Catholic Church, would you believe the Roman Catholic Church is the one true church?

  • Well, I know God performs miracles, even to the most seemingly hopeless, yes, miracles happen outside the Orthodox Church. But sure! I love miracles...Tell me.

  • There is others who are so corrupt, in a family, but one of them follows what's right, that's what I mean by most seemingly hopeless. A miracle God worked out, that person was following his or her heart.

  • @d789b the miracle of the sun in fatima:miracles of the eucharist, the host appearing to be flesh: miracles of our saints, padre pio healed a woman who had no pupils and without pupils one cannot see and she can see and she is alive to this day, seeing without pupils: my own experiences with miracles ever since i became a catholic and many many many more, so you cant say a church is the true church because you see miracles.

  • @dis00612 You are right. You cannot say that the Roman Catholic Church is the true church because a woman was healed or because miracles happen in your church.

  • @TheOrthodoxCommunity Exactly, we can go by miracles to prove a church is the true church. So, you need another way to find out but not by miracles.

  • @dis00612 The only way to find out is through deep meditation and prayer. Only then can the Holy Spirit be able to guide one to the Truth.

  • @xgreciandelightx Yes and the Holy Spirit that proceeds from the father and the son has led me to the Catholic Church. I am not a cradle catholic but now I love my faith because I prayed to the Holy Spirit to guide me.

  • @dis00612 This chant is Orthodox, not Catholic. Have you not heard that the Vatican wants to be reunited with the Holy Orthodox Christian Church, because they all came to the conclusion that the Orthodox faith is the only true faith. And the Blessed Pope John Paul II loved the Orthodox Church very much!

  • @TheOrthodoxCommunity Oh dont worry that wont happen. The Catholic Church is the one true church

  • @dis00612 Holy Spirit does not proceed from the Son, Pope is not the head of the church and never was in the apostolic and patristic times, he is not infallible, the church and doctrine are governed by the unity of all bishops. Holy Mother of God was conceived normally and she died. Salvation is not legal, it is ontological. Evolution of any sort does not fit Christianity. Popes supported genocide in Croatia. Orthodoxy is truth that was once delivered to the saints.

  • @RabMaksim "Believe most firmly, and never doubt, that the same Holy Spirit, the One Spirit of the Father and the Son, proceeds from the Father and the Son. That He proceeds also from the Son is supported by the teaching both of Prophets and Apostles." Fulgence of Ruspe (North Africa), Rule of Faith, 11 (A.D. 447).

  • @dis00612 "And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father, who together with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified, who spoke through the prophets." The Holy Fathers of the Church, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. A.D. 381.

  • @RabMaksim "Call the Father the author, because the Son is from him, though he is not from the Son and because the Holy Spirit proceeds from him and from the Son. By giving birth to the Son, he gave it to him that the Holy Spirit proceeds from him as well." Augustine, Against Maximinus, 2:5 (A.D. 428).

  • @dis00612:

"All that the Father has is the Son's except the being a cause" –St. Gregory the Theologian, who wrote the Creed (+4th Century A.D.)(P.G. 36, 252A)

  • @dis00612:

"The Father is the sole Cause within the superessential Godhead." –St. Dionysius the Areopagite (+119 A.D.), On the Divine Names 2.5 (PG 3:641D)

  • @dis00612:

The Son is not called a Cause (in the Holy Trinity)...the Father is the single Cause of the Son and of the Spirit, of One by generation and of the Other by procession (ekporeusis) –but ... the Latter is sent forth (proienai) through the Son, and in this way is shown the conjunction of essence and Their existing together unchangeable...”–St. Maximos the Confessor (+ 7th Century A.D.), Letter to Marinos of Cyprus (P.G. 91, 136A-B)

  • @dis00612:

The Fathers defined everything perfectly; he who goes against this Symbol is anathema; no one adds, no one takes away" –4th Ecumenical Council, gathered at Chalcedon (451 A.D.), Acta Concilia, II:1

  • @dis00612:

"Nevertheless, even if we did not cite all these and other innovations of the Church of Rome, the mere citing of their addition of the Filioque to the Nicene Creed would be enough to subject them to a thousand anathemas. This innovation blasphemes the Holy Spirit, or more accurately, the entire Holy Trinity." –St. Photios the Great, Pre-Conciliar Encyclical to the Eastern Patriarchs (867 A.D.)

  • @dis00612: St. John of Damscus: Exact Exposition...

All the terms, then, that are appropriate to the Father, such as Cause, Source, Begetter, are to be ascribed to the Father alone... And we speak also of the Spirit of the Son, not as though proceeding from Him, but as proceeding through Him from the Father. For the Father alone is a Cause." "We speak of the Son neither as a Cause (aition) nor Father, but we speak of Him, both as being from the Father and as the Son of the Father

  • @dis00612: The same:

And we speak likewise of the Holy Spirit as being from the Father, and call Him the Spirit of the Father. We do not speak of the Spirit as being from the Son, but yet we call Him the Spirit of the Son (ek tou hyiou de to pneuma ou legomen, pneuma de hyiou onomazomen)... for we confess that the Spirit is manifested and imparted to us through the Son." –St. John of Damascus (+ 8th century A.D.), The Exact Exposition of the Orthodox Faith, Book I, Ch. 12 & 8

  • @TheThedragonwarrior That didn't make any sense at all.

  • That is awesome man, Pedre Pio healed a women that had no puppils, very interesting. I am curios, does your Catholic Church have this service called Othros, Divine Liturgy, and Vespers?

  • @dis00612

Don't be deluded. Roman-catholic church went to heresy, not Orthodox Church. They put all false dogmas such as Filioque, purgatorium, indulgentiam, etc. Eastern Church (Ortodox) always stayed with Truth. We don't need unity if that costs us our truth.

  • Father, I abandon myself into your hands; do with me what you will. Whatever you may do, I thank you: I am ready for all, I accept all. Let only your will be done in me, and in all your creatures. I wish no more than this, O Lord. Into your hands I commend my soul; I offer it to you with all the love of my heart, for I love you, Lord, and so need to give myself, to surrender myself into your hands, without reserve, and with boundless confidence, for you are my Father.
  • @cathofaithdef

    Indeed He is Risen!

Yes my friend, let's not argue, but this is the question, we just keep maintaning the faith, we don't change anything, so if we don't believe in your dogms, it is just because they never existed for us, for all Eastern Christianity!

Have a good and holy Easter time!

Hristos Anesti, Kristos Voskrese, Al Massih Kam, Christ is Risen, Cristo ressucitou, Christus ressurexit!

  • @Loiginer I love the original traditions, that is still alive in the eastern Orthodox, and the traditional tridentine Catholic mass, that has been dying out lately.

But I believe if the Catholic church was not renewed, we would be small. Our masses are still in the same format, but the songs, are modernized, the church itself is modernized to a certain extent. But if we were not modernized, we would lose the young faithfuls, to protestant heretics. That's why I think this was necessary.

  • @cathofaithdef

So, let's not discuss, just know that Orthodoxy is not the way you learn in Roman Catechecism, neither western history!

    Christ is Risen, Hristos Anesti!

    IC XC + NI KA

  • @cathofaithdef The traditions are good as long as they serve their purpose. That was always a part of Orthodox way of thinking. The big difference between the Catholic and the Orthodox church is the belief in the divine punishment. If you beleive that the God punish you for your mistakes unless you ask for forgiveness puts in peoples minds and hearts the fear of God. In Orthodox church God is not a punisher,If you go to hell it will be cause you choosed to go.Thats why people leave church imo.

  • @kakas10000 Is this treu? where did you base this on?

  • @ThaTruthSpeaker Which part of my comment do you want know if it is true?

  • You are very right, God doesn't send you to hell, you send youself to hell. It's just unreal sadness, and it happens all the time... :(

  • Can anyone please give me the chords of this song?

  • Excellent video.

  • God Bless you my Orhtodox brothers! Hello from Orthodox Georgia (Gruzia)

  • @DerLetzteChrist

Gee, thanks. I am a Roman Catholic, and I was about to comment very nice things about our Orthodox brothers.

  • peace and God bless Greece . Podrav from Serbia

  • bravo Nemanja 1475...

  • Orthodox translates from the Greek to mean “correctly believing” or "correctly glorifying" (from the adjective orthos = correct, right and the verb dokein = seem (to be the case) and thus by extension "believe" or the noun doxa = belief)

There is a saying that eyes are the mirror of the soul. ...

Look closely at these natural evil eyes of Benedict XVI.

  • Спаси, Господи, всех православных христиан!!!!!

  • god saves my country Georgia! amen !

  • NEVER WITH CATHOLICS!!!!!!!!

  • We are Christians and we are Brothers, Catholics and Orthodox!!

    Christus Resurrexit!!!

  • @Zacnamiacz no , u r heretics

  • @TheSerb100

    Ga 3,26-29 ; Mt 23,12; J 17, 20-25

  • @Zacnamiacz We are brothers, however we need to convince Vatican to come back to their roots that they abandoned in 11th century. We need to convince them to renounce evil, greed, politics and power for the sake of our brothers faithful Christians. Recently there are attempts to create one church, however Vatican wants this church to be some melt of two which is unacceptable. They must come back to their roots.

  • @SerbNegroMonte

    AMEN!

  • @SerbNegroMonte

Catholics, Protestants, Mormons, JWs, etc. are always welcome...but to be in communion they MUST repent of their heretical teachings. Not some hate filled rant, just a loving rebuke.

  • @SerbNegroMonte "And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." it is recorded the Catholic Church has had through history successors of St. Peter. Now if you believe the Church has built up heresies then Jesus is a liar because then the gates of hell have prevailed. BUT THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED. Do you see OPEN YOUR EYES. You can't be a Christian without being Catholic.

  • С нами Бог!

  • The Bishop of Rome is the first of all Bishops, as this it was fixed by Christ.

  • Jose, we Christians all should have such a strong desire for unity, as I detect in your posts. I would encourage you to share your thoughts with an Orthodox priest, with willingness to understand the 'other side'.

  • @josezimmermann Patriarch of Constantinople is the first among equals, they are all equal in power ( Other Patriarchs),but the Patriarch of Constantinople the first among equals..

  • Predivno

  • Amazing I can not stop lissen to that...

  • Divna Ljubojevic sings this song..She sings like an angel

  • oman Catholic Church is welcome to rejoin. All it has to do is renounce its heresies. Namely:

    1) Rome's unquestioned universal jurisdiction

    2) Juridical nature of Confession

    3) Mary's Immaculate Conception

    4) Purgatory

    5) Transubstantiation

    6) Filioque

The hardest of these for the RCC to give up is the first one which they would find effectively impossible. So unification will not happen. All Catholics and Protestants however are more than welcome in the Orthodox Church

  • @ChristianEastern o, but what i have learned from another orthodox christian (maybe from a different Rite than you) is that orthodox also believ in Mary's Immaculate Conception and even her glorious Assumption. the dogma of purgatory is also found in the Second Book of Maccabees, which also form part of the Orthodox Canon of Scriptures. finally, the issue of Filioque was already settled in previous Ecumenical Council recognized also by the Catholic predecessors of Orthodxox before they separated

  • @cistercianus

    1) Assumption - ; It is my understanding that she died a natural human death, and of course was saved

    2) Immaculate Conception - I'm sorry but this is simply false. While many believe she lived a sinless life (certainly after Christ's birth) she had a sinful nature and was lost without Christ's sacrifice

    3) I looked up the Maccabees passage as wells as 1 Corinthians and neither I nor the OC has found a connection to "Purgatory". The reason is that salvation is not a reward

  • i sincerely wish this was longer

  • Господе Исусе Христе, Сине Божији, помилуј ме грешну...

  • Somehow, someday I hope the Orthodox and Roman Catholic Churches will find unity once more, as it should be. Let not the divisions between how we worship sway us from God's will.

  • May our Lord bless you! We are all brothers and sisters in Him ,our LORD. Catholics and Orthodox ,we are the both parts of a lung. We shouldn't separate !

  • woohoo!!!!!!

Every god exists as long as people believe in it. After people stop believing in it, he goes to a graveyard called mythology

  • Прелепо !!!

  • Absolutely Divine. It surely brings to the heart, mind and soul the mercy Our Lord imparts to all who want it and truly believe. God Bless you brothers and Sisters in Christ in his Holy Orthodox Church. From a Latin Catholic,

  • This is ortodox song...

  • @chava85bl Roman Catholics also Sing Kyrie Eleison at every Mass.

  • The way orthodox brothers THE WAY! God bless you all!! Amazing photos!

  • Kyrie Eleison + May the All-merciful, All-loving Lord have mercy on us all! God bless you all!

  • Jesus Christ was a human being, brought to earth in order to explain the meaning of compassion and peace to human beings. So although i am not a christian- at least i don't consider myself @ the moment- i do believe he was a special person: the universe selected him as one of the messangers :)

  • The belief in a higher self, a peaceful spirit and a compassionate attitude towards all people is everything RELIGION SHOULD BE. beautiful song and i've no doubt that Jesus Christ was sent to teach of a greater truth. bless you :)

  • @jdncoke2 Christ is the Truth my friend..

He is the Logos (Word) of God...

He Existed in God since the Beginning as Light comes out of Light

He spoke the Universe into existence.

He took flesh and suffered for our sins to reconcile our fallen nature with the heavenly one.

Through Him we are all saved, through Him is the only way to get to God and reconciliation.

    God bless.
