dismantle the bureaucracy quadruple the minimum wage and cut off all social programs and cut off the taxes for small business and you will solve half of the unemployment problems , in my opinion ...I am a libertarian
Europe is now in the worst shape they have ever been in history SPECIFICALLY due to their intrusive policies. Get the government out of the way, please!
the market will get companies to treat employees better.
Wow I've never seen so many smart people be so stupid. The companies will take their money and open in a country that will allow them to bilk the lowest employee's on the totem pole.
The question should be "how do we legislate against greed"?
An interesting discussion, and as someone who is highly skilled yet not currently employed in his chosen field, but in a field that's enjoyable to work in, it's of definite concern to me.
@NuclearThermos The beauty of what I want to do is that experience is the best teacher. It's just not the kind of job that involves a constant paycheque.
I think the guest forgot the third tier. 40% of the Canadian GDP is spent on government and a lot of that cost are union jobs which don't fall into the spirit of either category.

"Exploited because employers are exploited"
Pardon me, but I send more than 40% of my income annually to a group of bureaucrats at the threat of jail time for fraud. Who is exploitative?

@Deadmansparty2002 According to these guys, the solution is to spend more money/time training.
