I think that Leona's rendition is very good. In my opinion this was the only song that she has ever sung stunningly. However I think that Snow Patrol's original version takes the award by a wide margin. Gary Lightbody (lead singer) has a unique high volumed baratone voice that is completely and utterly unforgettable. I like Snow Patrol because they appear to blend in with the crowd,drink shots of whiskey (Irish) and they don't expect the red carpet to be rolled down.

just wanna put it out there that every recording artist there is, is in essence a talent show winner, they are good musicians who get lucky and get signded. also the people who did the arrangement for the leona lewis version probably know a shitload more about music than the members of snow patrol so all in all both versions are valid and both versions are good although as always full credit to the amazing group that created such a beautiful piece from their hearts.

the flares where the wrong colour as the producer forgot to check what colour they where, despite ordering red they got white and had to do a load of stuff to the video to make them red, and the person in charge was so cross with the producer that they wouldn't talk to them at all. Also, this was all filmed at 2am because they wanted it to be as dark as possible
