  • it is really hard for me to keep my lower back in the floor, is there any exercise to make them stay in the ground when making this kind of exercises?

  • I've been doing ballet all my life, i felt i needed to do more exercise not just for my shape but confidence and stress levels. I did all four parts last night (i felt i'd be able to because of ballet -i'm flexible and have loose hips), the second i stopped, i could feel the burn. I woke up this morning and i could STILL feel a deep burn, it's made me feel so good about myself. Not only this i woke up relaxed and so much happier, so much so that i plan to do it every day! Thank you so much!!

  • hi tara..i've tried this routine as well as the other two routine with my sis. we r keeping up with u but still quite lack of strength to do all of it. anyway, i dunno how shud i lose weight since i eating normally without any diet regime cause i wanna do this for a very long time. so, is it normal to lose bout 500g a week?i hope to be as fit as you in a year time..

  • whew! that really gets deep in your abs...i feel like if i ate right now i'd feel nauseous. that's what pilates and yoga ab work does, it really gets your deep core muscles like crunches can't.

  • what is your height and weight? just wondering because the reason you probably look so thin is because you are petite and i used to be quite toned but people still thought i was fat because i am quite tall!

  • Wow that was a killer abb routine! Normally I don't feel too worked after I workout unless I do a bunch of cardio, but these yoga videos are killer!

  • when am i supposed to be exhaling and inhaling? i've heard that it is important to inhale as you sit up (for example) and exhale as you open up the body or maybe its the opposite. i'm not too sure

  • @flora257 Muscle weighs more than fat (: you just toned the fat , and gained muscle ! which is why it seems you gained weight ! as long as you look and feel skinnier it's just the muscle gain !

  • this is a lot like Pilates.. I have been doing pilates for awhile now always wanted to get into Yoga mainly for mental health ( anxiety, depression) but have always gotten vertigo.. I'm just starting your week 1-4 workout for weight loss routine and have been doing your morning routines for a few weeks now.. Why do you think i'm getting vertigo? and why don't I get it as bad when i'm doing pilates? anyway i love your videos and your attitude. Thanks a bunch for what you do. ☮

  • Hey! I'm in high school too (I assume you are since you mentioned PE class) and I had NEVER done any yoga when I tried the total sweat routine. Yeah, it was hard, but I could do it. :) Also, as long as you're working your body, it doesn't matter if it looks as good as Tara (nobody looks as good as Tara! :] ) Building flexibility also really helps, I recommend Tara's "Bend It Like Tara Stiles" video. One more thing, you can work on each routine for more than one week before adding on to it. :)

  • you will not lose weight doing crunches or yoga. You need cardio and don't ever go on a diet...you have change the way you eat forever, or else you're just going to bounce back up to your original weight in about 9 months.

  • really great, i picked up a bunch of pilates moves from various sources and, over some months, plucked out the abs routines for my own workout -- it's shockingly similar to your routine here. also i live the composition, if you did the camera work great job

  • Five minutes of those exercises and your abs will be burning. I want to give this a try except I don't know if my back is limber enough right now to touch my feet to the floor.

  • you can skip the rolling back part. . . especially if you have any back pain just stick to the lowering the feet toward the floor and back up to the ceiling keeping your lower back pressed firmly into the floor. :)

  • don't do anything that hurts your back! doing the first part is great for your abs too! no need to do the other if it hurts! I'll make a video about skin and hair. thanks for the compliments! the big secret is the way we practice yoga though!
