That boat will run 68-70ish VS this hull at 85-90 HOWEVER once you add a LOT of weight the M/E will carry the load better and ONLY then would it be able to out run this boat.. Trust me the M/E was not made to be a super fast hull it IS a boat that can carry LARGE LOADS very good. C/C Running 85+ SICK

@mariner10rpr cant do it, barely enough room and to much weight, the had to take the Quads off of the hooters boat (which is now called the A-team) because the engines soak up to much water and rob the inside engines, but that boat was fast as hell, ive seen it shotgun start and everyone was kissing there asses, and ther is a video on here from fountain where richard stone took the lead on a shotgun and went back for more three times, i witnessed it myself, fountains are nasty ass boats

fountains are tournament boats, plain and simple. theyre made for guys who run to where the fish are, and not just in the local are. boats running to spots of over 100 miles away are not that uncommon. and when you have a check out and check in time, the ability to fish longer but still run back in in time is a huge advantage.
