I hope it works out for you. I must say, that looks be be a very small amount of water for generating 4kW. What is your measured head and flow? Why not build a higher impoundment than 1 ft.? There is far too much to be gained by increasing the impoundment height only a small amount. More gains than just increased head. Screening will be nearly impossible with only such a small stone wall...won't it?
