Great composition! Excellent fusion of the orchestra and the lute; this one does lots of great melodies and arpeggios. It makes me feel calm and smiling.
When i was kid since 30 years ago, i was lisen this loveling melody for first time, was looking a movie i supose the name "In the deep of Bermuda"....and always remember this magnificent music and movie, that i can never see more....somebody help me to find the movie (was in the ocean and a giant tortul)
That 2nd movement was really something. It's probably the most famous of this piece, but he really brought something new. The lutenist was really tearing it up at 4:18 and beyond. That's why I like Baroque period. It's philosophy is the closest to jazz to me in that the performer is given a lot of freedom.
I am honestly surprised that people still listen to good music like this. I myself recently found out about Vivaldi and others...thank you for the vid
Better yet, for those who have the gift to continue playing this music. The world of baroque music is waiting for you to discover more...perhaps, the most beautiful music ever composed. Mr. Vivaldi was born in 1678 and he passed in 1741. Need I say, his music is among the longet playing hits?
Yes, indeed...to include the music of other baroque composers of the day. Musicians still play Mr. Vivaldi's music, for over three hundred years. Making baroque music quite "possibly" the most eloquent of all music...serenity, sublime.
I was looking since along time ago (34 years at least!)a melody that was in my mind but I could not ask for it because I am not musician and I was not able to repeat it to someone that could help me.
It is very pleasant to know that corresponds to the second movement of this great concerto because I did not know that was part of a Vivaldi's piece.
Great Vivaldi's world heritage performance. Thanks.

Thank you for posting! This concerto is rather difficult to find in a good quality. But this performance does it justice to my ears.

One of the most beautiful peaces i've ever been graced with. This is simply superior. The Allegro II is masterful.
