The Citroen C4 is far better than the Subaru.

In fact, the C4 is probably one of the best rally cars we've seen for some time now.

And thats because it were tested for a long time before they started using it in the WRC. Unlike the Subaru which breaks down all the time.

I would have to disagree. The only reason why Subaru can't win much as of late, is because Impreza is almost twice the size of Citroen. With same power. But Citroen vs Subaru, what are you smoking? Subaru is probably one of the most reliable car makers. Thus, Impreza is also very reliable. Not many mechanical breakdowns in the competition. Its just too damn big to compete with those little golf carts. Even so, it is still very competitive, given the right driver.

Im talking about the WRC cars.

I have no doubt that Subaru is better than Citroen outside of the rally tracks.

But lets face it. The Impreza was renewed so often that they only had time to fix everything that was wrong with it before a new car came along.

And im sure that if Loeb was driving a Impreza, he wouldnt win as much because of technical issues.

@83ls The Subarus are actually cheaper than the Xsara to buy, but with the amount of issues he had with subaru and looking at what Loeb did with that car, I guess Petter just thought "I'm having some of that"

Du må da skjønne at de ikke blir tauet bort til de forskjellige SS etappene.. De kjører jo dit selv, er jo ikke langen biten, bilene har jo skilt. Så de kan jo kjøre på veien de også, som vanlige biler. Dog, fra etappe til etappe, ikke til vanlig. Altså de har svarte skilt ;)

Hey I love it when people upload stuff like this. You took the chance they'd throw a spanner or something at you out of sheer frustration. I'd say though it was gear-box problems when he mentioned the 12mm "d-tent". A d-tent is like a ball-bearing used in a gearbox to either stop the gearbox moving 2 selectors out of sequence or it's a spring loaded ball-bearing used to keep a selector in place. I'm just a driver so don't take my word for it though... :)

so was a gearbox issue - or dry break connection failure. They seem to have that thing sorted out last weekend (Cyprus) - well done to all...

He had a new engine and dampers for cyprus and a top 3 fininsh id say he's kicking ass
