You guys do realize that Michael Jordan got all those points , assists and etc. because at the time, the defense was bad. In Jordan's era, it was all about Isolation defense. Now defense has been so advance and complex that Kobe can't drive in the hoop for more points and pass it for an assist like Michael Jordan. 80s, 90s games are physical games, it means every night you will get much more tired after the game.
And Kobe never score high against good defense teams. Most of his 50+ gs are against those teams even cant make to playoffs.
When he face better defense team like 2008 Celtics, 2004 Pistons, he never havd chance to hit 40, 45 pts.

No. All the NBA rule changes with regards to defence have given the advantage to the atacker. No hand checking (1999), defensive three seconds (2001) both opened up offense and league averages of PPG and FG% went up significantly after these changes.
Phil Jackson said he believes Jordan could average 45ppg with these new rules in effect.
Jordan did play under the new rules at age 39/40 and still averaged approx 21ppg, four points less than Kobe's career average.

You guys do realize that Michael Jordan got all those points , assists and etc. because at the time, the defense was bad. In Jordan's era, it was all about Isolation defense. Now defense has been so advance and complex that Kobe can't drive in the hoop for more points and pass it for an assist like Michael Jordan. The rules and defense back then made it so everyone can drive it in easily. I think if Kobe was in that era, he would be #1 not Michael Jordan.

The year after, Pippen gets into trouble, misses a chuck of the season and the Bulls go 34-31 and were on the verge of missing the playoffs. Jordan comes back and the Bulls go 13-4 and into the playoffs. 3 years later......
Grant, Armstrong were All-Stars once....and that was the year Jordan was playing baseball. Loaded in 96-98, not so 91-93
