  • haha my puppy loves chees 2

  • my puppy is to hyper idk how to clam him down.

  • @imkafei1 well try to call him when hes near you give hold him or close the door ( if your in your room ) then you could make him sit forcefully but dont hurt him and then once hes sitting give him the food and repeat

  • what a fail video, i didnt expect no less from expert village. These are some dumbasses claiming to be experts. what a joke. why dont u train a UNTRAINED pup next time instead biatch

  • how old is that pup?? cause i have a puppy too like 5 months old... can i train him at that age or he has to be older??

  • wtf that dog iz already train

  • Uploaded by expertvillage on 9 Nov 2007

noobs puupy is already trained i lied at 1:02

  • i think my dog/puppy doesn't speak english... -,-

  • @TheyCallMeKAMiCHAMA Dogs don't care about language as long as they get used to a command but if you want use the word "sit" in your own language.

  • Clearly the dog is already trained... u actually have to get it's attention, and then hold a treat and make ur dog follow it then put it over it's nose.. and then it ends up sitting down!

  • lmao the fog was alreagy going to sit at 1:23 stupid video .. how bout training a dog to sit... isn't that the whole point of the video???

  • look how fat it is though

  • My puppy runs away!

  • So mutch treat's! This dog will soon end up fat. :P

  • ExpertVillage, youre the Best!

  • i dont think thi is the best way tgo train a dog because our dog was trained this way and yeah he sits as soon i say the word "sit" but only when he sees food. if i have nothing in my hand he will just ignore me lol.

  • I have an 8 week old Doberman and thought It was impossible to get him to sit and lay down. But alot of patience and in about an hour he learned sit and lay down

  • cheese is bad for dogs, you puppy killer bitch.

  • @ivkillre just cause its human doesnt mean its bad for dogs idiot

  • El Barto was here.

  • ONLYUSEmeBLADE just tells his dog to "SIT DOWN, PUPPY!" and the dog obeys.

  • wow you've upload so many videos!!!

  • PLEASE SOMEONE ANSWER THIS QUESTION:IS IT GOOD TO GIVE UR PUPPY FOOD?????

  • @genesisreyes24 no xD

  • my puppy didnt sit when i say sit he will walk =_=

  • crappy video!!!

  • take the treet near the dogs nose and the over his/shes head and he/she will follow the treat and sit down give the treet to him and say good or something

  • horrible video.. you didnt show us how to teach.. only showed us that he already knows how to do it.

  • is that a puppy?

  • Never drag a puppy by the leash.

  • So what if the puppy sits only when there is treat and disobey where there isn't

  • MY dog likes no Treats :/ well... at least it wont end up fat :/

  • 138,757 videos!? WTF!?

  • this video actualy helped me alot its more for new dog owners as i was, i didnt know what to do but since watching these videos i feel more confident it doesnt matter if her dog is already trained, its just for an example.

  • I expected the pup wont even react the first time she would tell him to sit!!

  • My dog loves cheese I have a jack Russell and she learns very quickly and is a very good girl. be nice and loving to your dog when teaching them and they will reward you well. :)

  • My dog learns quickly..

  • ...he likes cheese...

  • i love my dogs..=)..nd i trained them by my self!...u just got to be really nice with them nd they wil love u!..hehe

  • barto is a full grown welsh corgi

  • notice how she rewards the behavior first before associating the command word (sit)....... one suggestion would be to gain attention with the doggie's name (and/or reward) prior to initiating word command..... such as "Barto, Sit"

  • Comment removed

  • definitely not a puppy

  • barto doesnt look like a puppy to me

  • his like "im out of here ..... did you say cheese hmm hmm give the cheese!

  • Goood!!!! Okay!!!! Lol

  • Dude - can you demonstrate how to teach a dog to sit w/ it's tail tucked under it's butt cuz I don't want its 'pink eye' on my couch!!! Man that thing stinks when it winks at me ;)

    yeah, that's right...

  • i tried with m puppie and my older dog and it work im going to keep practicing every day oh and the cant teach an old dognew tricks isnt true my older dog did better than my puppie

  • cheese is so unhealth for your dog

  • id like to train this bitch to put a brown bag over her face and suck my cock!

  • this bitch dont know shit about fuck!

  • how do u train a small dog how to sit thats never been tought?

  • ok thanks melony

  • ok thats great ur dog knows how 2 sit, but how does my dog sit!?!?

  • ...well what if your puppy is big?

  • Boring

  • what kind of dog is that???

btw dont show us dogs that are already trained that doesn't show us how affective this training method is

  • @struggle375 that is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. i agree with you.

  • thanks for sharing...u

  • Honestly, you shouldn't even be using a treat. And, when he goes around to try to get the treats she doesn't even scold him, which encourages the bad behavior.

  • Will you please subscribe me

  • haha what is the point of expert village?! try getting a dog that isnt trained first hahaha!

  • I don't know why, but her voice soothes me...

  • The dog already sits because he knows he's getting a treat. This is worthless. I would be nice to see someone do commands with dogs who are in the process of learning that command.

  • according to psychology you need to start giving your pet a treat after a random certain occasions then slowly reduce the amount

  • @djcorbijn Very true.

  • my puppy is 3 months old and she and he knows how to chase a bird...

  • i typed in the stupidest expert village video thiis poped up

  • she doin good.

  • my puppy jus tlikes being scratched behind the ear, saves me a fortune on treats :D

  • This video would be 10x better if the dog wasn't already familar with the word "sit." My puppy is always running around, so how do I get her attention long enough to do this?

  • nice!!!!

  • haha nice work

  • ok that dog is all ready trained so

  • @ambir09

doesn't mean shes not giving expert advise that you can use to train your puppy

  • @ambir09 Almost all dogs in training videos do.

  • are you people stupid, obviously the dog is partially trained, the point is to demonstrate the technique. do you also call in to cooking shows to point out that they didn't really bake a casserole in 1 minute?

  • why is all the audio in these videos jumpy, bad compression!?

  • no they dont..idiot

  • @beebobobop123

If you want to say no then prove me wrong you idiot.

  • you know it worked

  • uh---bud.. that isnt a puppy.

  • cuz its a pembroke welsh corgi! i have that all corgi is fat

  • Wow.

Okay, so, obviously she's working with a dog that has previously been trained, so she's not exactly saying how to teach your dog to sit in the first place.

I heard that you should hold the "reward" up above their head, and move it back until they are forced to bend their legs (thereby sitting) to have their nose on the same level as the "reward."

I should be getting a new puppy Friday, so I'll see if that trick works when I'm training her. C:

    It should work, though. XP

  • The problem with luring your dog into a sit, is just that it focuses on the treat instead of the action. I've got the problem today with "down".

My puppy was teached to sit down in the same way, as the woman on this video does. I waited for him to offer the action by himself and then I said "sit" and "good boy" and gave him a treat. He learned it fast and I didn't have to teach him, that it was the word and not the treat/handmove that he was supposed to react on

    Read about clickertraining!

  • audio is fucked up in every of her video

  • yea

  • Hey Melanie: Your Audio Sucks! and its the same in most of your vids.

  • check out sddogtrainer on youtube shes an amazing trainer

  • i can even get my dog to sit down in the first place -.-''

  • @burpgal This puppy had been trained, you need patience to train puppies for the first time..

  • @burpgal thank u i got a puppy pitbull and she went crazy wen i showed her a doggy treat

  • wow, so it takes5 minutes tot teach your dog to sit?

  • that dosent make since at 1:29

  • laughed so hard.

  • lol notice her laugh at :36

  • hihihi

  • good video but you arent showing people how to sit... just showing how this dog already knows to sit. you want to get infron of the puppy with a treat and pull it over its head until it sits, then say sit, then give treat. eventually the pup learns that sitting gets the treat.

  • That works, but is a pretty archaic method. There are newer ways that are easier and more intuitive for the dog.

  • Very nice advise on training... i tried this out with my 8 week pom x but she just remains sitting, giving me eye contact (which is what i first taught her). I try to move the food around the floor to get her to chase it before sitting, but she wont.. any suggestions? i even lift her up on all fours but her butt hits the ground straight after so i cant mark it

  • Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did it! I can't believe it but I did it thank you very much

  • look at 1:05

  • LOL it's more like 1:07!

  • Spelling better for a start.

  • LOL

  • anybody notice the dog chasing the pussy?

  • lol...

  • A well trained dog is a happy dog

  • Well, that's a very good puppy. I'd like to see this training with a dog a little more hyper active. I can't get mine to stop lunging at me for the treat!

  • uh do all her "little puppies" like cheesE?

  • Apparently

  • its funny because thats not a puppy. thats a 1 year old pembroke welsh corgi

  • you should tell him to sit not to let him offer otherwise the dog will think he'll sit when he wants and hes not a puppy. and you should give the treat as soon as he duz gd behaviour

  • Im getting two labs when i move into my new house in 1-6 months. I cant wait! I hope these vids come in handy!

when you teach him to lie down did you say "lie DOWN" or just "lie"

if you said lie down than make sure when u teach him sit you use the word "sit"

if you use "sit DOWN" he will confuse it with lie down.

  • hey, my name is bartow

  • i just turned 12 and i taught my puppy Eddy how to sit in about one half hour at age 11.Soon i taught him to lay down.

  • Nice work with the puppies... foundation is so key!
