This almost happened to me! This guy was really convincing. He assumed the property owners identity (even having an email address in his name), but something in my gut told me something wasn't right, so I googled the property owners name and found an additional cell phone number and called it to confirm he was the person I had been communicating with and he said NO he wasn't.
