I think it's neat how the Amish have been so commercialized . . . and the only people not participating in the commercialization is the Amish themselves. Unlike typical Christianity, which exploits and commercializes everything it gets its greedy hands on. This is a really cool video.

I drive by the amish everyday and can tell you the real ones will not give you a ride (i've asked). @YogaNate79 it is because of who they are that they attract attention, I went into a Mennonite interpretive centre, had an interesting chat, there is more than 1 type of Amish, many Amish do work in mainstream society due to lack of available farmland and yet they need to make a living, these guys are probably real Amish doing just that, making a living in addition to Markets and Quilts, just the way it is.
They have nothing to do with any of the bad in America. They're not as "down" as you think. Read about them, and understand their principles and the foundations they come from.
