Of course U.S.A doesn't win all its wars (Vietnam, Iraqi part II, etc.) But that doesn't mean that the U.S.A wouldn't be able to destroy all of Russia while there missiles are on there way, and as you said... Even though I am not a Canadian I still believe it is Canada's territory, simply due to the fact that it is closest, talking about land above water, and if America wanted to stake the same claims, much like what geldmany said just because there is a piece of land, underwater, that connects the U.S. from Antarctica, then it could be the U.S's piece of land.
