  • Jim Carrey.

  • Fucking genius!!! This guy represents the cool factor of being an adult in the 70s

  • how can he play that song?

  • He's genius!!!

  • Wonderful memory that takes me back to my teenage-years.... BRILLIANT JMJ <3 =)

  • Моя с детства любимая музыка!

  • Extraordinary, Jean Michel Jarre is a genius!

  • This is just my humble opinion but to me it seems like this video is about the paranoia caused by psychedelics, especially when you're outside.

  • @geneXiii

All I did was make a humorous, light hearted observation targeted at the numerous stoners who are attracted to the music of Jarre and similar artists and then you come along and make an ass out of yourself. Thank you for entertaining me. Not as entertaining as Fail Blog but nonetheless entertaining.

    Have a nice day.

  • @gamblor67

    Fuck off kid

  • @storchnuts

    I was joking -_-

  • @geneXiii

What attitude? You're just trolling. All I did was make a light hearted observation targeted at some of the viewers. I didn't expect or even want a response. This thread is the making of you and two others. Not me.

  • I searched for this song and Skrillex came on top. The day Skrillex and Dubstep get murdered will be a day of celebration for me.

  • vive le corduroy bell bottoms!

  • unbelieveble that this song is from 1979!!!!

  • 2:52 pacific design center by cesar pelli

  • Hate to say it, but Kraftwerk could beat the shit out of this guy, i mean like they are four of them or five in Kraftwerk. just to let you know.

  • @xxxKINGFROGxxx

Kraftwerk is awesome and so is Jarre, i think Jarre is a more versatile composer, but that is just my own opinion (i'm a pro musician myself). Also i think Kraftwerk shows aren't that great, very static and dull. Jarre's concert are alive and kicking.

    Music is not a competition.

  • @Mr12stringbass I think Kraftwerk are much more about purity of the electronic sound and experimenting with the versatility of modulation. The music is also - it seems to me - very industrial, i.e. very efficiently (and systematically) German ;)... Which is why I like it.

Jarre is a different proposition with that famous open, fresh, flowing, sometimes child-like French flair. Which is why I like his music - at least his early, more characterful work.

    That's my unlooked-for penny's worth... :)

  • WHICH CITY IS THIS ??

  • Handsome man Jean Michel ^^

  • @sharepix Mhm and he gives off the I am mildly socially awkward vibe as a result adds to his dreaminess, he's also brilliant good combination would love to explore his mind's temple teha!

  • E P I C !!!

  • Omg omg i love this!

  • ''Goosebumps''

  • PURE ELECTRONIC!!! d(-_~)b

  • Ce son me fait à chaque fois penser aux vieux jeux sur Atari. Ahhhhhh toute une époque !!

  • Man, I think his best stuff came from this period of his life.

Small point, in this clip he looks like Shaun Cassidy ?

  • "interesting" video.

    But his best song ever...

  • JMJ is so nice in this video. LOL

  • i listened to this every day when i was at my old workplace. this was the opening song!

  • @jackboothexplodes Great song indeed! Nof often use this song, because you are you thinking at your youth (like me)***Ludo

  • @ludo281160 hey, i may be 13 but im not in my youth.

  • este és el autentico himno de europa!!!!

  • Maybe this is crazy, but I wonder if Jarre has ever made any comments about Trent Reznor (or vice versa). And before you pummel me, think about it--electronic music, different genres. Just wondering.

  • Classic JMJ. Love it. Wish there was music like this in the US....

  • why this track seems to be the most important of the entire album?

  • @beautyguys This is the track that got air play across Europe, back when it was first released. I think there was a 2nd track that also got air play, but this is the one that really made him popular back then.

  • @darkridr25 thanks for answering, and why Equinoxe 5 theme is repeated at the ending (equinoxe 8 i think), anyway I think Equinoxe 5 is the best Jean Michel Jarre piece

  • @beautyguys I like it a lot too, yes, but my all-time favorite by him has to be Revolutions from the album by the same name. That song makes my imagination soar.

  • long after tiesto is forgotten,JMJ will be remembered.

  • 10 ?

    JMJ OK !

  • jean michel jarre -part iv 2007-HD

  • ♥♫♥ Jean Michel Jarre forever ♥♫♥

  • 0:52 its syed from eastenders lol

  • @thanxx ; I think you mean Brookside, which came years after this piece of music and unlike this music

the terrible soap disappeared long ago and was/ still is not missed.

This sounds as good today as it did in the 80's

  • I like how in the '70s keyboard set-ups were the size of a house...

    Ha, ha!

  • Sonic 2. Bonus zone music...

  • does anybody seen this video without the words over the image somewhere?...thanks you

  • Why has some twatt posted Pussy cat twats as a response

  • GENIUS!

  • Jean-Michel Jarre wrote and played music for the 21st century. 31 years ahead ! Still sounds awsome in 2010 !! In 2020 ! In 2030 ! In 2040 and in 2050 !!

  • @davisgreen2020 I agree, good words! Timeless! I think Mozart, Beetowen and the guys would have loved this! I mean he is the really "reflector" of our last hundred years. Tech, high-tech, ultra-tech and further on. That is art!

  • @ingareinar007 he's a big with kraftwerk for example in electron

ic music...they are pioneer of this but not to compare with mozart or beethoven in my opinion...

  • @JAKOMAD1 I think Mozart or Beethoven would maybe have done this if they lived today. At least not like they did. I love all of them, but hypothecially, one has to "push the envelope"

  • @davisgreen2020 Yeap, He is the best!

  • Im always being stalked by cardboard cutouts

  • When my brother and I were 6 years old we listened to this together. Due the front of the cassette, which consisted out of people with things in their hands, we called it "spook music". We were addicted to it, we repeated the song over a hundred times. Today I heard it again, and the first thing I did when I finished eating was: search it on you tube! This song refreshes my memories.
