  • hey, GREATBONZO94, oh is that so? Please, tell me why not slag Robert?, he doesnt give a shit about his millions of fans anymore, unlike Pagey and Jonsey. So, regardles, I am, and always will be a HUGE ZEPPELIN FAN FOREVER.

  • IS THIS AUDIO FROM 1975?

  • I truly believe that Page loved Plant- (not like a fag) but more like a brother or a kindred spirit...I think even more than that. Regardless how he felt for him he wanted him around and totally loved his voice- and who couldnt?

  • Quite simple beautiful, the way Page,Plant and JPJ work together is breath taking. I really hope these guys get touring again!!!!

  • Good Lord I love this song.

  • that wasn't a felony back then(?) so he didn't break any laws i guess...ha, ha,

as long as your spirit can handle it, why not?

  • Hey skater, I agree, but to all the millions of expectant fans, he should at least come out with an exp. of why he is not going to tour. DAMN ZEPPELIN WAS AWESOME !!!!!

  • yeah, definately! ha, ha, he even licks his arm

  • yeah, plant...looks like he's doing blow at 0:30 on...

  • This song is the absolute best live L-Zep performance I've ever heard.

  • JPJ on mando! Great video.

  • no he just said he didnt want to be like the rolling stones who are like 100 and still doing the same stuff

  • What an arsehole you are - you call yourself (a) zephead and yet slag Robert off because he chooses not to go back in time. And then you say let's do it - like you in the band!! And that phrase douche bag - please.

  • a true fuckin zephead wouldnt say that

  • WTF he's doing drugs at 0:30

  • hahahahaha

  • it's a guy actually, check it out again

  • These guys ruled. They had it all, Good looking guys, Great music, lots of money, youth. Wow. I saw them in Chicago at the old Stadium. They played like five songs then cancelled. I think Jimmy was sick. These guys should difinitely get back together. They could single-handedly wake rock and roll up.

  • I love the cute brit girl....but.....

its led zeppelin ...she forgot the "e" lol its still good

    zeppelin rules!

  • hahahaha wow thnx i totally missed that and i agree Zepplin Rules lol

  • amazing

  • The reason Plant isn't doing a World Tour is because he's an arrogant S.O.B. He hates John Paul Jones, and Paige did something to piss him off at the O2 arena in '07. If you know much about Led Zepp history, Plant and Bonham were good buddies. Plant's relationship has only gone downhill with the rest of the band since Bonham's death, and apparently him and JPJ never got along. He needs to realize his impact on Music History and suck it up for a final World Tour. COME TO ATLANTA DAMNTI!

  • Fuck

I refuse to believe that plant and page don't go along well.

  • Refuse all you want, I read about it in Rolling Stone a few months back, it COULD be a rumor, but Plant is certainly making it clear that he doesn't ever want to play with Led Zeppelin again.

  • plant and page were best buddies but when heroin was controlling jimmy there relationship went sour

  • yeah plant is a god in my eyes but he's being a total douche. -_-

  • liquifing...

  • GODS.

what i would do for a world tour...

  • read the tags in the description, it says "robert planet" rotfl

  • obviously the man is on his own planet deservedly so, but he should at least tour with page, jones, and jason. i just think he feels hes not the plant of the 70s and though he could use the slave tickets he doesn't bother. i'm not mad though the man has his reasons whatever they may be.

  • that girl spelled led zeppelin wrong

  • loved it! great upload :D:D

  • I love reading these cool arguements while listening to some soothing music by musicians are of a caliber that we will probably not see the like of again (atleast not all together in the same band!)

  • since its nearly impossible 2 c zeppelin go c hammer of the gods they covered this song wen i seen them an it was good

  • smoked my stuff and drank, all my wine.

  • he licked his finger and rubbed his arm

    he didnt do "kokain" (cocaine)there

  • he did lick his arm lol : D

  • someone told me there's a girl out there, with love in her eyes and flowers in her hair.

    :D

  • :D Top class comeon ledzep

  • guess what headbangers, page is more than a hard rock guitarist, how 'bout that?

  • what is robert plant doing in the first 30 seconds of the video? it looks like he is licking his arm or something..

  • no he is taking kokain xD

  • haha that was my main guess..lol thanks for helping me clear that up

  • Yeah, he's doing a shot of coke.

  • haha nah hes shooting up on XTC

  • A lot of people don't realize how hard it is to play an electric guitar and an acoustic guitar as well as Jimmy Page does. True, the notes are the same, but the styles, knowing the best positions & chord fingerings for an electric vs and acoustic, writing with the intricacies of the acoustic instrument in mind, etc, are all very different than on an electric. How he is so damn good at both is just amazing to me. Better yet, he looked fking cool doing it! :) THE guitar god in my opinion.

  • wow truly amazin dude i love it to fucking death yo!!!!!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • i was'nt even alive! :(

  • I was there..best gig ever!!!!!

  • The best band to ever walk this earth.

  • the best ever

  • Fuckin' awesome!!

  • Greatest rock band of all time. Without a doubt.

  • Id love to see these guys come back, do 3-5 yrs and call it a day. Why not, other 70's bands with 1/2 the talent are doing it.

  • The reason they havent done this is because they dont want to perform and have it no be everything that it once was. I dont know if you recall they did some shitty work in the 80's and were criticized for it. Plant is concerned about how the band is regarded.

  • What shitty work? Live Aid maybe. (No Rehearsal) The Page/Plant stuff was good, saw 2 different shows. Page is more of a perfectionist then Plant. John Pauls always has been up for it, but I get the feeling Page/Plant do not care too much for him. I know thats true, but don't know exactly why. During the recording of In Through The Outdoor, it was pretty much all Plant/Jones. Page/Bozo were both in the grips of Heroin addiction. Look at Knebworth, Jimmy's a waife, Bonzo looks45 yrs oldwas 31

  • but they prooved they can still do it.

i hope plant changes his mind because it's just music and they looked like having a good time playing together again and that is all that matters.

  • well i reckon that years of smoking and the like have really fucked up plants vox these days, especially of late. Even though it wont be the same without plant, i think the vocals would sound better with someone else a singing them.

  • mabey... but his voice is still great, havent you heard kashmir from the o2 gig??

it would not be led zeppelin without him...

  • his voice is trash!?

he has to have like the greatest voice for any 60 year old ever.

and i know he has changed, but it has gone like 30 years since led zeppelin.

i still belive that seeing them today would be great.

  • david gilmour of pink floyd..his voice hasnt changed in the last 40 years heh

but yeah plant still holds his own and has an amazing voice now considering how impossible he had song in his earlier days

  • true but he sounded fine at the 02, they just dropped most the songs an octave and he was fine. His voice is still there, just different :)

  • if they dropped most of the songs an octave the strings would barely be staying on the guitars you dumb shit. They droped some of the songs a full step, thats it. You obviously arent a musician, so dont try to sound like you are

  • My bad but dont call me a dumb shit and don't accuse me of crap. I was making the comment in a rush and used the wrogn term, big fucking woop. Go fuck yourself.

  • What does it mean to drop a full step...not to be patronizing but i'm really not a musician.

  • it means to drop an octave down.

Plant unfortunately did not have the voice he used to so, for the O2 concert, they dropped a full step down for Plant to be able to sing

  • It means that the tuning on a guitar was made lower by one not. For example the normal tuning on a guitar is EADGBE from thickest to smallest string. To drop a full step the guitar would be tuned. DGCFAD, as you can see each string is just one letter lower. Most people will not notice the difference if a song is played a step lower, but it makes it much easier to be sung. Hope that helps

  • normally strings are tuned E standard...so they would drop them a full step to D standard

    A B C D E

    E-1= D

    hope that helped..

  • you were close its double drop-d so it would be DADGBD hope i helped

  • ahh yeah i knew that..i was just explaining that if you start with the big E and drop it to D..then tune standard..you would have drop tuned 1 full step

thanks for trying to help though =]

  • wooooww..

  • Zeppelin is and will always be Gods, for al eternety

  • awesome! this band rocks! jimmy page is awesome!

  • jimmy at 1:55 makes a funny little smile. Seems to be happy with an acoustic guitar? On the DVD u can see it better.

  • what dvd is it from?

  • its from the dvd simply title "led zeppelin"

it has a desert and a mountain thingy on the cover

  • awesome

  • What is Robert doing from 0.20 - 0.40??

  • waiting

  • He's smoking all his stuff and drinking all his wine. ;)

  • New musi is no good.

  • youre damn right about that, fellow mate

  • Anyone noticed that Robert is having himself a cocaine shot at 0:31 ? Look behind the guitar player! At 0:18 is rolling up his sleeve and you can clearly see the straw in his hand a few seconds after...

  • Sex, drugs, rock n' roll man, thats what they lived.

  • You dildo1 Do you really think Robert Plant is stupid enough to shoot up? Much less in front of all those people on stage? you are really an IDIOT!

  • It's always nice when you hear from people on YouTube! Especially when they don't get that not everyone speaks english all the time (Yes Pal, there are other country in the world besides the USA!). By the way, I know that Dildo is your best friend name, but call me Alex please. And by the way, since you,Genius, did not get what I was saying, I'll explain it to you in easy term: Rock singer - On stage - With a straw in his hand - licking stuff on his forearm. I don't think it's sugar!

  • I don't know what he was doin

  • that's not what he was smiling about

he was smiling at John Paul cause they were wondering why they went back into the leading intro

  • tihss is so intesne i cant even explain its way better then any show ive been to , iwish i was there right in the stadium.

  • This is a beautiful song...zeppelin will always stay in my heart.

  • amazing led zeppelin kicks ass

  • /Users/Michael/Desktop/images.jpeg

  • thanks for the send Tim!! ^_^..i love this song

  • Where has all the talent gone??? Why is there no one that is even 10% of what Led Zeppelin were. It's lucky that I'll never get sick of listening to them and the other greats of that time.

  • YEP RITE ON!!! THTS IT!!

  • I agree. There is not a single band today who could even hold a match to Led Zep, let alone a candle. For me, there is only one band who can top Zeppelin. The Who, although trying to choose between them is trying to determine who is best out of McLaren and Ferrari...

  • Absolutely fantastic. My fave Zep song by far.

  • luv watchin tht girl with the banner SHE givs me the chills...u can just c alova her face how much she loves the LED....YEAH!!

  • and forget about the fact that the banner people spelled Led ZeppElin wrong...

    not Led Zepplin

  • oh ya..hahaha...i didn't even realize that..

  • "My name is Robert Plant. I use to sing in a rock back"

God, to be able to say that.. sound like that.. be that..

    Thank-you Mr. Plant.

  • gilmour looks funny here

  • Real seventies: 'a girl with flowers in her hair', he sings. Almost all the soft performers sang about it that time. It was called flower power. Indeed Led Zeppelin has got soft songs too.

  • The sea was red & the sky was grey. Wonder how tomorrow could ever follow today.

I have always loved that particular line.

  • very awesome choice of words !! the sea was red and the sky was grey..... I wondered how tomorrow could ever follow today

  • oh what i would give to have them regroup and tour again

  • Clapton? what are you talking about ????

  • idiot.

  • hahha u dont know zeppelin do u!!??!!..cause there's no clapton in this vid!!

  • Best comment ever!

  • Earls court...nothing finer, to be sure

  • jimmy and john paul and fantastic on guitar here, it's hard to play that accurate live.

  • John is playing mandolin

  • this song i think is one of there best never ever get sick of hearing it a truly beautiful song

  • awesooooooooome,Earls court no doubt is the best live zep!!!

  • When i was flying into california to live there for the summer i was listening to my ipod and i fell asleep. When i woke up i could see the coast out my window and this song was playing. Just filled me with bliss.

  • What a great moment for you..It must have been a must do situation :)

  • Never let em' tell you that they're all the same.

  • he said "never let em tell you that we're all the same"in this one=/

  • listen to this with your eyes closed..I know it's hard..hard as it seems but give it a go

  • niceeeeeeee the best make me feel well always

  • This is Zep's best acoustic song

  • maybe their best acoustic song but the Rain Song is the best acoustic song EVER!!!!!!!

  • the rain song isnt an acoustic song it has doth drums and elec. guitars in it

  • well even the acoustic versions, just playing the guitar parts on acoustic with the lyric is far more beautiful.

  • I actually do like the rain song better but im talking about the studio version The rain song is is my 9th favorite song, & going to california is my 15th favorite song

  • i agree JPJ doesnt get enough credit not only a great bassest but mandoiln player and keyboadest

  • if jpj had the chance to solo on that mandolin like page has w/ the guitar.........O_O

  • I love the mandolin in this song.

  • Plant's Finest Performance Live, really amazing and beatiful song

  • this song is just too good zep is the best and will always be the best

  • you always make me feel better......always..

    hopefully.......this will too

  • one of the best live vocalists of all time

long live plant (unless he stops a zeppelin show from happenint) and zeppelin

jones never gets the credit he's due...such a talent

  • I love how at 1:56 Jimmy turns over towards JPJ and smiles like "when the fuck are we stopping and going back to the verses!" lol

  • Amazing.

  • pure good song

  • Er Lerk Lerd Zerpperlern. Thers serng kerks erse!

  • Must have been one of the first nights. By the last night Robert's voice was starting to go, but it's perfect here.

  • i love led..

  • led they are gods of music

  • I watch this song at least twicw a day! Better than all your Prozac put together!

  • In 1975 the closest place to heaven you could be was zeppelin at earls court. This song gives me chills...

  • It seems so open and honest, don't know how else to explain it. Get goosebumps though :X)

  • This is like magic :)

  • those were the days folks; never after a rocknroll band could take it that far, a magic song from a magic time, glad I´ve been in it

  • wait nvm im a dumbass it says below

  • i agree and jw but it JPJ the lead guitar in this?

  • They should definitely show John Paul Jones more during the filming of this song. Considering the fact that he has the lead instrumental part and Page is just the rhythm chords.

  • i love robert plant, how he always adds a little something to the great songs that they perform that is previously unheard...

    just like at 3:42

  • Haha. At 1:55 Page looks over at Jones and smiles because Jones extended his solo:P

  • Any one know what type of acoustic strings Pagey uses? This song is abusolutely amazing!

  • Ernie Ball Earthwoods.

  • best band of all time. no question.

  • ah this video gives me a new found respect for john paul jones

  • JOHN PAUL JONES OWNS!!!

  • John paul jOWNS.

    Sorry about the terrible pun.

  • hahaha like it though

  • good one mate. hahaha

  • Amen!

  • love the dummy in the beginning spelled zeppelin wrong

  • So beautiful!

  • ''smoked my stuff and drank all my wine''

  • Does he say "smoked my stoge" on the album version? That's what it sounds like, but in this version he says stuff. So I don't know.

  • he says "smoked my stuff" on the recording.

  • Yeah, I realized that last night as I was listening to the song. I originally thought it was "stoge" so that's always what my mind heard. But you're right, he does say "stuff."

  • I would sell my computer to see tham live...
