hey guys i got some tips for you

-lower you water detail

-lower you visual effects detail

-lower your resolution

-lower your draw distance slightly

-use game booster it could increase your fps by adding 10 to 20 more fps

- using task manager put the gta iv program to high priority

- put down any detail that is un needed

and your game should run smoother with better details than this

(ps this if for vista nvidia 7100 users since they have more ram to compensate for the lower card)

You can't run it, or maybe very-very slow. The song is Soviet Connection. You need a better graphics cars to run it OK.

yes it could work i have played on cpu 2.6 ghz and graphic nvidia 7600 and 1 gb ram :) it was slow but i could play that means you could play but graphic will be afful :S

ok i bought the game today.

i can play it very well with not a lot of lag. i dont know why other people are complaining. ive had no crashes, no errors and no shitty fps.

I know, I don't get it either, people have 2-3 years old hardware and complain that GTA doesn't run, well play old games then, I say. I've got old graphics card, but at least I admit it, and obviously it's not R*'s fault.

I agree with that statement this contig file has been going around whitch is basicly a single file defragmentor it helps alot for people with atleast a 2.5 ghz dual core processor or nvidia 7600 graphics card but when I had GTA IV I didn't see the diference (I have a 7100 as well) but I agree this game needs a serious optimization I myself have tried many patches/fixes/hacks with most to not much effect

You should be OK to run it on medium setting, AFAIK. Just make sure you install the patch and new Nvidia drivers, it helps a lot.

Anything over 7900 is good for this game. You've got good specs anyway, it shouldn't be a problem.
