Better than "The Grinch" when Patsy says "Merry Christmas" to Saffy. Even though Saffy slightly smiled when she thought Patsy was dead. Perfect holiday episode!
I don't think the expression Saffy had as they heard of Miss Stone passing away, was really a smirk or smile. Seemed more of a neutral expression, perhaps something of both joy and sadness.
I love how Jen Saunders managed to write this episode with the right Christmas spirit as well as keeping everyone in character. That's an almost impossible task :) She's a genius!
Cold Turkey is by far my favourite episode of Ab Fab. Besides all of the regular brilliant aspects of the show, the side-splitting one-liners and fantastic slapstick, this episode also showcases vulnerabilities of Eddy and Patsy that we don't often see. The moment in the hospital room when Eddy discovers Patsy isn't dead and they embrace joyously, is so beautiful. I get that warm, fuzzy feeling every time I see it. And of course Patsy wishing Saffy a Merry Christmas..adorable! <3
oh, we get them in crackers! It's a weird mix of old (like, medieval old) traditions to do with putting coins and dolls in the christmas pudding and modern commercial stuff. They put toys and paper crowns in crackers, we pull the crackers, put the crowns on and then forget to take them off for a few days.
I think she was smiling because she thought Patsy was dead and with her gone she could finally have her mother the way she wants her, because Edina's selfish behavior is always encouraged by Patsy.

because, in denmark, we celebrate the 24th, first eat, then dance around the tree and at the end get gifts in the evening. and then it's over. :)
