  • I'm not trying to criticize or be mean or anything. Just commenting to tell you what I think. The choreography is OK. But I think that she should really show off the routine a little more. The music is nice. :)

  • I'm 11 years old, and I want to go into gymnastics. I can do a cartwheel, round off, splits, scorpion, and back bend, but nothing else. I really want to learn!

  • You can still do it. Go to a Gym and show your stuff. They may start you in level 5 but it is fun if you have a competitive spirit and have a love for the sport.

  • @dooreynincp, I'm 14 and I just started gymnastics this February with no basics (I couldn't even do a cartwheel) but after 9 months of training I'm now quite good. We don't have level where I'm from but judging from the videos I watch my floor would be level 7. So just train hard and I think you can start gymnastcis now.

    @Moejoe69, I don't think 13 is a good age to start rhythmic gymnastics because rhythmic gymnast start even younger than artistic gymnast because they require more flexibility.

  • I like it(: The choreography could be better but it's hard to do good hip/hop choreography as a gymnast cause you have to keep in mind you're wearing a leotard lol She could show it off a little more but if it's a new floor routine it'll get better, Great job!(:

  • This a judges cup not a a meet. You don't get scored just comments from the judges on how to improve your skills. This is pre-season and not competition.

  • @dooreynincp If you want start gym at 13< I would suggest recreational gymnastics. or rhythmic gymnastics. Most girls start at a very young age. Like 4 or 5 years old. But gymnastics is a great sport that will keep you fit. Try recreational gym.

  • @dooreynincp I started when I was 10 and I was chubby. I'm now 13 and training level 6, if you really wanna do gymnastics, nothing should stop you. Try it out if you really want to! Do open gym and see if you like it and if you do, you should stick to it :)

  • @dooreynincp That doesn't mean you can't start when your older! If you love it and want to do it then I say GO FOR IT! I started when I was 12 (lvl 1) and now 10 months later I'm a lvl 4! It wasn't easy but this sport is my whole life and if you feel the same way BE A GYMNAST!!!! Don't let other people tell you you wont make it cause if you have the determination, you will.   • @rainbowluver101 Thanks for you post. Out of bounds does blow. But I kind of laughed it off because the was the Judges cup and a brand new routine.

  • i use to be a gymnast n i think yu need to land stronger. just really stick it. other than tht it's beautiful

  • your routine is nice but you seem stiff and there's almost no flow

  • i like it but you need to get more into it, smile or something, the choreography is great but you need to dance it up.

  • yes. I am in level 9 again. But I have a new floor routine this year.

  • she is rather stiff. she practices better than performes. once she should have relzxed a little bit more, her nerves got the best of her.

  • You don't look like you're having any fun at all. I know it's nerve wrecking; first meet of the season, new routine, but you have to have fun and let loose a little bit. I can tell you have a lot of power in you so just put it into everything. Just curious, what score did you get?

  • this was her first meet of the season with a brand new routine. she was still working out the kinks.

    as for the whole routine pretty darn average, slow, steady, and alittle sloppy

    but over all on a scale of 1-10 a good ol5.5

  • You're really good, but you need to work on just having fun out there. I noticed that you didn't smile, and even if you dont think you're music is "happy enough" to smile,

    it's still really important to smile, the judges LOVE it!

    some cronstructive critism though,

    1. Since the music already has emphesis on the downbeats of 2 and 4 try to sharpen up your dance moves to enhance that feeling. The way your moves were here looked lazy and almost sloppy. it did not fit the music

    2. The landings on the tumbling passes were kinda bumpy, you need to plant your feet and make it sharp =]

    3. Try adding a little more attitude to your routine, be agressive! =]

    And have fun with it

    Good job overall though =]

  • Nice Routine! Here is some constructive critiscim though-

    1. You have a great dance you just need some more attitude

    2. Try to sharpen the dance moves... it will make your routine look really nice with the dramatic music.

    3. Also, try having an expression on your face during your routine... whether it is a smile or a serious expression- it makes the routine more interesting to watch.

  • u have really good tumbling passes and really good music but u need more dancing and u need to work on your landing u need to stick it

  • If i could offer some constructive critisism, it seems like the dance moves aren't well defined. Try adding more pop and attitiude to get the higher scores; judges like the extra effort. Just a tip: good job tho!

  • the skills are basically nice just tidy them up a little and obs the step out of bounds but the dance needs a lot more presentation of the choreography and needs more expression! you want to WOW the judges! work on the dancier aspects cos ur skills are nice

  • The dance needs more hip, shoulder and chest movement- "work it"-- nice lines..

  • she needs to have more confidence and work more on her front tumbling landings. the music is boring. acually a lot to much of the same beat. find something more instresting. :-) other wise great job!!

  • if she did not step out the line her score could of been better by far much. she just needs to learn how to tuck the last tumble in more at 57 secs
